To Whom It May Concern,Regarding the issue at hand:1) All written material is given to prospective clients BEFORE they sign up for the program It is explained to them that there is no refund BEFORE they pay for the service.2) All of our instructors take great time to help the new members,
ESPECIALLY in the Lose To Win program, as most have not worked out in some time I always tell the new members to go easy the first week or two to avoid discomfort and ease into the program.3) The dog is at the premise EVERYDAY, so if someone is allergic I would assume that they would say something at the time of the meeting and NOT join.4) This particular member was aware of what was needed to be in this program.5) I did move the time slot, as is my preference but would NEVER talk to a member like she stated, there were still classes per week this individual could make which is more then enough, combined with the nutrition, to be success 6) Once this individual took class an realized that is was NOT going to be easy the complaints started coming as did the excuses. If you should have additional questions, feel free to contact me directly

I am rejecting this response because:
The response given by Liz G[redacted], of Core Fit in [redacted], is a complete fabrication.1.  There was no dog present during the initial meeting.  I am allergic to dogs, why would I join a gym that allows dogs in the workout area.2.  Because of a class schedule change Liz G[redacted] made at the end of the first class, there is only one Lose to Win class available during the promised time slot in the M-F week.3.  The class I attended was not what was discussed or marketed on the website.  The instructor offered no advice or modifications.4.  Absolutely no paperwork was provided.  At the time I paid, I asked for a receipt, paperwork, membership card- anything to show that I had even joined.  I was told there was no paperwork to give me.  I have since requested any available paperwork several times via email, and Liz G[redacted] has ignored those requests.  5.  Liz G[redacted] did not state that it would be necessary to "take it easy" and did not offer any advice at all.  This program was marketed as a beginning level small group exercise class.6.  I am not looking for an excuse not to attend a gym.  If I was, then I would not go to a gym and pay them $350.00 for a 6 week program (which, by the way, is more than double the price they charge for their regular membership).7.  I am looking for reimbursement of the $350.00 I paid for a service which was never provided and which does not exist at this facility.8.  The "no refund policy" is written in small print on a class schedule which was given to me by Liz G[redacted] after I paid and was on my way out of the building.9.  Immediately after I took the first class, I advised the owner, Liz G[redacted], that the class was not what was promised, discussed, or marketed on her website.  I also advised that the schedule change which was made that day resulted in only one class being available during the M-F week during the promised time slot.  Her response was "too bad."  Her solution was for me to obtain a video copy of the class that another member would make, and to watch it on my  [redacted] at home.  I told here that this was not an acceptable remedy because I paid for live, small-group, beginning level exercise classes.10.  Even though Liz G[redacted] has not delivered on any of her promises, she seems comfortable taking $350.00 from me and, I'm sure, any other unsuspecting customers.  I do not understand how someone could do business in this manner.11.  Buyer beware of Liz G[redacted] and Core Fit.

Review: On 2/9/12 I paid $180 for 15 classes at Corefit. I got no punch pass, contact or written documentation listing terms of agreement. I asked how I was going to keep track of what I used the owner [redacted] said they would keep track of the classes and I would sign my name on a class sign in sheet. I told [redacted] that I traveled about 85% for my job and this worked great for me as I was not able to join a traditional gym. I came in for a class around the holidays and [redacted] told me my classes expired. I told her I did not know there was an expiration date on the classes I bought and if I knew that up front I would not have bought the 15 and just paid as I went. [redacted] agreed to let me finish out my classes and I would pay for them individually after I completed the 15 I already paid for. The next class I came in for [redacted] was teaching and she was not feeling well and told me I was the only one coming to that class and she just wanted to go home to bed. I felt obligated to agree with her even though I was very disappointed that I would not get a work out. On 2/28/13 I came in for a class and was told it was canceled by someone who was working in the office. She called [redacted] to confirm if she was coming to teach the class and [redacted] said no. On 3/7/13 I checked the schedule of classes on the web site as I had planned to go to the 5:15 class and noted the class schedule had changed so I called Corefit to inquire about a class and [redacted] answered the phone. She told me my classes expired and that I was not welcomed back because I was rude on 2/28/13 when I stated that I was disappointed that there was no body there to teach the class. I asked [redacted] how many classes I had left and she would not tell me. She told me the terms were listed on the web site but I was not given this info when I bought the classes. The web site is changed as of last week and I need a password to view the Terms. I paid for a service I did not get. I was lax because Corefit was new so I have no recourse.Desired Settlement: I would just like back the money for the classes I did not use. Since I was not given any punch card I have no way to know exactly how many I used. Corefit has the sign in sheets from 2/9/12 onward and I believe I used maybe 8?
