November 13, Dear [redacted] ***:This letter is a follow up response to the complaint filed with your office by [redacted] ***.In her complaint, [redacted] states that incorrect information is appearing on her CoreLogic SafeRent (“SafeRent”) consumer report.Please note that SafeRent is a consumer reporting agency as defined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”)SafeRent maintains public landlord/tenant and criminal court records which it provides to its clients who are (a) employers for the purposes of evaluating employment eligibility of an applicant, and (b) property owners and landlords in the multi-family housing industry for the purposes of evaluating housing eligibility of an applicantRecords are returned based upon certain matching criteria; however, due to the nature of public records, the records returned may or may not pertain to the applicant.Our records indicate that we have left over five (5) voicemail messages for [redacted] to call us to obtain additional information in order for us to process her disputeOnce [redacted] contacts us and provides us with the additional information, then, in accordance with our obligations under section of the FCRA, we will (a) reinvestigate her dispute to determine whether the disputed information was inaccurate and record the current status of the disputed information, or delete the information, as applicable, from the file we maintain on [redacted] ***, and (b) provide [redacted] with our reinvestigation results.If you or [redacted] have any further questions or concerns, please contact our Consumer Disputes Department at either ###-###-#### or ###-###-#### and ask for MsLynnell D [redacted] who can assist with your request.Sincerely,Jeff W., SrManager, Risk and Control

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response from the business, because they are not changing their policy of reporting incorrect information on housing applicantsIn fact, in their response, they admit to spreading informationIn their letter, they say themselves that "Due to the nature of public records, the records returned may or may not pertain to the applicant." Therefore, instead of using an applicant's social security number to ensure correct information, they are still depending on faulty information collection that results in people being denied housing Regards, [redacted]

Good afternoon, Based on the information provided the complainant, [redacted] ***, regarding her criminal report that was provided to [redacted] at [redacted] on 8/19/2014; we do not show any criminal records appearing on the report that was used in conjunction with her application for employment with them; therefore there are no criminal records (or reports) to amend, correct or modify The criminal report provided to our client ( [redacted] at [redacted] ), on [redacted] ***, reflects "No Records Found" as a result of the report findings, therefore we have not provided or slanderous information to our client regarding the applicant/ consumer It does not appear that [redacted] has made any attempts to contact our Consumer Relations Department to seek disclosure of her file to determine exactly what was provided to the [redacted] at [redacted] during her application process, nor has she made any contact with our office attempting to dispute any information that she believes to be inaccurate on her SafeRent consumer file Should [redacted] wish to obtain disclosure of her SafeRent consumer file, or dispute any information that she believes to be inaccurate on it, she should contact the Consumer Relation Department (toll free) at: ###-###-####She may also wish with send them her request in writing via fax, mail or email at : ###-###-#### (fax), [email protected] (email), and PO Box 509124, San Diego CA, Thank you, Dominique M [redacted] CoreLogic SafeRent Consumer Relation Supervisor

We are still in the process of researching this matterAs such, we respectfully request an extension until April 10th to provide a definitive response

As far as I know I only have information on the one at [redacted] - Rockville , MD [redacted] I have been given four phone numbers for them ###-###-#### ###-###-#### ###-###-#### ###-###-#### All the correspondence I have recieved has had the Maryland return address I was looking for the fax number that I was given and I found that letter says Corelogic Saferent LLC , Consumer Relation Department , P.OBox [redacted] , San Diego , CA [redacted] Appently the business is is Maryland and their consumer relations office is in California The fax number that they asked me to send the papers to is ###-###-#### I sent the material at 9:AM today This is all the same company their consumer relations office is in California and the rest of the business is in Maryland I think the complaint would be about both setions of the company Thank you for bringing this to my attension I will contact the San Diego Revdex.com about this also thank you for your help [redacted]

In her complaint, *** [redacted] states that there is inaccurate information being reported in her CoreLogic SafeRent (“SafeRent”) consumer report SafeRent is a tenant screening company and a reseller of the credit information provided by the three national consumer reporting agencies ( [redacted] )Each time SafeRent prepares a new consumer report for its clients (who are typically landlords or property management companies) that contains [redacted] credit information, it orders such credit information from one or more of the three *** SafeRent will (a) process this complaint as a dispute in accordance with the applicable requirements set forth in section of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and (b) provide the reinvestigation results directly to [redacted]
