Scam
This guy has scammed so many people out of money and nothing has been done. It’s obvious that they don’t care if this douche continues to steal money from others. I suggest that someone take him to court and get others to do the same. The more people the better of a case you have to get this guy put out of business. People leave reviews but they don’t bother to do anything else. This guy needs to be put out of business and pay people back or fined or something.

Regards,
[redacted] Mr Fields has done no snow removal work on my  property since the signing of the contract on 12/26/2016   He stated that he had back-up and was not working alone and had many snow removal jobs in the area. Mr Fields called me on 3/11/2017 said he was out of town and could not reach his back-up person and I needed to find someone to do the snow removal myself for the storm on 3/13--3/14/2017. At that time I stated it would be very hard to find someone with that short of notice. He said he would repay me for the snow removal that he could not do. I have contacted him 3 times on his cell phone and left messages about meeting me and repaying me but he does not return the calls. He based his est. on $100.00 per removal =about 6 left in the season =$600.00. 2 missed@$100.00=200.00 He missed the only 2 snow storms since signing the contract and has done no work on my property at all. He is still $400.00 ahead after repaying the $200.00 he owes me. I wonder how many other people he did this to. I will close this complaint if paid the $200.00    Thank You   [redacted]

We did do work for him and we did not make it for the last one due to my sister passed away and I was in Arizona. I advised him he would need to get someone else to do the work this last time and once I get back to Milwaukee then I will refund him $100.

Always some excuse! You’ve overused that you had COVID as well!

Review: I'm writing this complaint to try and get my money back from [redacted] Snow Removal of [redacted]. November 25th 2014 when I was leaving to go to night class, I came out to find my driveway, steps and most of my walks to be snow and iced over. His crew had come that previous night in the mid evening to shovel. I'd say around 730-8 pm. It is now a day later and I still have snow a sheet of Ice and I have to shovel and buy salt. [redacted] and I had discussed my driveway in detail prior to signing contract, and I had explained it needs to be well salted and the steps so my father won't slip. I am leaving the country and need someone I can reley on. My father is almost 70 and has chronic health conditions. I had called [redacted] previously with the driveway being icy, where he said to let it melt in the sun for a while.

After our conversation on the 25th, he had hung up on me because he didn't want to hear me tell him, the work wasn't finished. He kept arguing with me telling me the snow will melt. He then called back and said I wasn't the only customer on his list and that it might be best to give me my money back. I agreed totaly. He said he would drop off a money order and pick up the contract from me, with in a week. I've been waiting and today he says, I have to wait until the end of the month. He keeps post poning paying me. He also said he came and salted again and that he would be doing my driveway personally. This is after we agreed he wouldn't be and now, he says, his attorney says he has the right to fulfill contract. And a voice message that says; he's been doing this for twenty five years and if I put anything on there, Meaning Revdex.com He will sue for slander because the season just started and get a judgement against my fathers house and sue me, and that if I think I havent done this in a while, i've been doing it for twenty five years. If you wanna play, we'll play! I just want my money back I've asked. Also when I signed up with him he said it was $325.00/ $400.00 for salt. He saw leaves in my driveway and asked if I wanted him to remove them. I said there arn't many and not if your going to charge me. He said since it will make it easier for his team and with me signing the contract he would just do them. Also second time I had two shovel and go get/buy salt. He says he's charging me $45.00 dollars for both times. So I'm only expecting $310.00 from him which seems odd when he told me over phone it comes out to about $20 Per time, for him to shovel/remove snow and salt. I have text messages, voice mails, pictures of driveway and a girlfriend that was their with me and [redacted] when we had talked about and agreed to what needed to be done and prices.Desired Settlement: Refund of contract

Review: I contracted [redacted] with CF recovery for snow removal service for the 2014-2015 season. I contracted him for 2 properties, mine and my mothers. I paid $400 for the season and my mother paid $550. Contract was to remove snow from driveways, garage entrances, sidewalks and approaches.

He did not show up to shovel over 50% of the seasons snowfalls. One snowfall was over 10" of snow and he did not arrive. The tenants missed work because they were snowed in under 3' high snow drifts. I had to hire a backup service for the remainder of the season at extra cost to me for each time they had to come out.

When unable to show up to fulfill the contract there was no word from him, no notice he was unable to do the job, nothing. When I made attempts to contact him I was sent to voicemail and my many pleading voicemails went unanswered. When I finally did get in touch with him he did agree to refund us the cost of the extra snow removal service. This has yet to happen.

Now that the season is over and it is clear that he fulfilled less than 50% of the contract he promised to fulfill after up front payment, I think it is only fair to be refunded 50% of the contract price.Desired Settlement: Refund of 50% of both contracts: $200 to me for failure to fulfill 50% of my contract and $275 to my mother for failure to fulfill 50% of her contract

Review: I am filing a complaint about CJ Recovery operating as a snow plow business. I responded to an ad on Craigslist for snow plowing services for my (salon) business. Corey Fields came out to my business on October 27th, 2015 and I signed a ‘2015/2016 Winter Season’ contract stating that for $600 for the season he would plow my parking lot, sidewalks and approaches. (See attached)

It snowed for the first time Friday night 11/20. When we arrived at the salon on Saturday morning nothing had been plowed. I called him and he stated that someone had been there the day before at 2:00 p.m and again early that morning. I let him know that it hadn’t even started snowing until much later the night before so there was no reason that anyone would need to plow at 2:00 p.m. the afternoon before but that no matter what, it didn’t not appear that anyone had been there to plow since it started snowing. Eventually Corey himself arrived and agreed that it looks like they had never been there. He apologized profusely (saying he doesn’t operate that way) and plowed the lot himself. He didn’t plow the entire lot (left more than four spaces filled with snow) and didn’t need to do the sidewalks because by this time we had cleared the walks. We are on a very busy corner so we are obligated to get the walks clear as soon as possible.

The second time it snowed was December 29th. When we arrived at the salon the lot again was not plowed. I called him right away at 9:30 and he said that his brother-in-law was hit by a semi (he was apparently his other drive) and his own plow truck wouldn’t start. He finally made it out to the salon after 1:30 and again didn’t do the walks and did a terrible job of plowing. This time we actually took pictures because the job was so terrible. At this point I should have asked for my money back but I gave him the benefit of the doubt because of his brother-in-law and his truck not operating.

The third time it snowed on Monday, January 11th. When we arrived the next morning (we are closed on Monday’s) the lot was again not plowed. I called Mr. Fields and he said he had other jobs and would be out as soon as he could. He never arrived. There was a substantial amount of snow and we had no place for our staff or our clients to park so after several hours of waiting we called another service and had the lot plowed.

I called Mr. Fields and spoke directly to him about getting my money back. He became very rude and obnoxious, even calling me ‘sweetie or honey’ in a derogatory way. He said he would have to discuss this with his attorney and that I would need to give him a few days to get back to me. He never did.

I called him several more times and finally left him a voice message letting him know that I was still waiting for my money (on 1/25/16). He never returned my call.

I made one last attempt today, 1/27/16 and left another message.

I can see that there are several other complaints about him with the Revdex.com. I’m just sorry that I didn’t check this man out further. He seemed so honest and sincere but apparently he is not. The solution would be for me would be full reimbursement as he completely broke the contract. The two times that he did come he never did the walks and he did a terrible job with the lot. It cost me more money to have the piles removed that he left behind both times.Desired Settlement: Full Refund of $600

Review: I hired this company under the alias CF Recovery, so did the lady next door, to remove our snow for the seaqson 2014-2015. We hired him last year and he did a good job, so decided to renew our contracts. We each paid him $450.00 for the season. He did show up for the first few small snowfalls, but this last big snowfall on February 2, 2015 he did not show up. We both called him several times at the number he gave us [redacted]. We got no answer. Went right to his voice mail. We also called the 2nd phone number he gave us.. but this one is disconnected. He did not show up for the previous 2 snowfalls, but they were only slightly over an inch of snow, so neither of us were too concerned.

When I hired him I explained to him that I was in a car accident and was in the process of having several surgeries on my back. He was sympathetic and told me that if I needed my garage cleared out immediately to just call him. He told me the price would be $400 (as that is what I paid him last year), but I paid him $450 because he agreed to clear out behind my garage after the alley snowplow came through. He said that he lived on 13th and Howard, and his son lived on 20th and Oklahoma (only a few blocks from me) so it would not be a problem.

The lady next door is elderly (in her 80's) and I was in a severe car accident last February, so neither of us can shovel the snow. I had to hire someone else to clear out my snow for me so I could get out of my door (it was drifted in) and get out of my garage. Also had to have my sidewalks cleared as the city requires us to have done so within 24 hours. I am furious! Basically he took $450 from me and my elderly neighbor... without fulfilling our contract.Desired Settlement: I demand that he refunds me, and the elderly lady next door, all of the money we have paid him for the snow removal this year ($450 each).

I would never hire this snow removal company again. Did not show up when agreed upon, did not clear property of snow and ice when promised. Many excuses that created many problems for the residents of this property. I would like to warn others of this business.

Review: I'm writing this on behalf of my mother. At the beginning of Winter she had hired [redacted] Fields to remove her snow for 2015-2016. He came out, they walked around and discussed everything she would like done. She signed a contract and paid him in full hundreds of dollars for the season.

First snowfall, a guy came out, cleared a path down the driveway, and then left. My mom called [redacted] who advised the cord on the snowblower broke so he was not able to finish the job, and no one ever came back. My sister and brother in law came over to clear the driveway the next day so she could get out. She called [redacted] several times, he made excuses and even told her he had a customer that was having a New Years Eve Party and she had no where to park the cars because her driveway was not plowed and it was too frozen to plow now. He blamed the man he hired and said that the young people have no work ethic.

When it snowed between Christmas and New Year's, no one came out and it all froze on the driveway. Again my brother in law went over to scrape and chop up the ice and put down salt.

My mom then had to have surgery and was in rehab for 9 days. During that time the neighbors advised us they cleared the snow a couple of times because they never saw anyone come out. When my mom contacted [redacted], he gave a bunch of excuses and claimed they had come out, but the snow was already done.

Feb. 12, 2016 she called [redacted] to discuss the situation and request a refund, he said he was in Oconto, his sister passed away and that he realized he didn't give her or other clients the service they were supposed to have. He said he would be back in town in a week or two and would discuss a refund with her at that time.

Feb. 24, 2016 [redacted] says he is still in Oconto and does not have invoices with him, but will call when he gets back to Milwaukee. Says they were at her house several times to clean the snow, regardless of what her neighbors are telling her.

Next snowfall my mom hired a man from her church to help her the rest of the season.

She never heard back from [redacted],

On March 25, 2016, I left a voicemail for [redacted], and told him he needed to look at his invoices and get a check in the mail to my mother as promised within the next week or I would write a complaint to Revdex.com and send a complaint to Contact 6.

As expected, no calls and nothing in the mail.

Very disgusted, and would like to warn everyone I can about this guy,Desired Settlement: Would like a full refund due to services not rendered.
