Review: Yes I purchased an outdoor furnace from corle building. It is call a [redacted] outdoor furnace. I went and looked at it in there warehouse. I asked several questions about the furnace. Like if they have had any problems in the past. They said 1 small minor problem that they addressed and fixed. So I Bought the furnace got it installed and proceed to fire it with coal. While firing the furnace with coal I noticed the load door which is filled with water was starting to boil the water. Also was told that the furnace would go at least 10 hrs without having to be tended to.I called corle and talked to a [redacted] told him the issues I was having.He told me to check the system for air. So I checked for air in the system. No air in the system. Still load door boiling water and not getting any burn time. So I called him back to see what else I could do. He had me check the air vents on the furnace to make sure they were not blocked. He also had me check the system again for air. Again I do what I am told and no fix. Called back and was put on the phone with an employee. Talked to him and he had no solution but to try wood. Tried and no fix. So I called to tell them I think the furnace is defective and they reply not possible. So I tell them I want a full refund for the furnace. It's not working properly, I feel it is defective and they never once wanted to send out someone to look at it for me. They tell me they will not refund my money. So after a few days of calling and complaining they said they would refund me half my money because it was a used furnace. I told them I have been having issues since day 1 and they didn't want to send someone out to see if it could be fixed. Mind u the furnace is only a week or 2 old at this point. Told them they rather have me try to fix it that sense someone down.Desired Settlement: I think I should have a full refund or if they will not do that without going to court they should send me a check back for half the cost of the furnace so I can try to have someone fix it if it can b fixed. Would much rather have a full refund and be done with this problem.

Prior to purchasing, I went over the different components ofthe furnace with [redacted], showing him that the fUrnace unit itselfis easy to opente. Iexplained to [redacted] that he would be respànsible for purchasing a circulating pump,water lines to run the water to his home and baclc to the lUrnace, and a heat exchanger. Iinfonned him that the installation ofthe unit and hook up ofthe necessary components isthe responsibility ofthe c~stomer, [redacted] questioned ifwe had any issues withfinnaces since we started manufficturing the units. I explained to him that we have mademinor adjustments to the furnaces over the years, for example we changed from an 8”diameter smoke stack to a 6” diameter and have started to use digital aquastats for ease ofoperation, [redacted] questioned how often he would have to 1111 the unit. Based onresponses from oilier customers lexplained diat on a typical winter day he may load thefurnace twice a day but that could vaiy depending on the temperaturn that he was tying tomaintain and size ofbuilding he was heating. Alter answering all his questions andnegotiating pricing, [redacted] decided to purchase the fUrnace.[redacted] sent an email to us on 1/22/15, expressing his displeasue ft the fUrnace. Hedemanded that we take the fUrnace back while issuing threats of contacting the BetterBusiness Bureau and his lawyer. I contacted [redacted] that morning to go over theissues he thought he was having with his fUrnace. He explained to me that he was gettingan air lock in his system which was causing heat loss in his home and described thathewas hearing a bubbling sound coming from the fUrnace door, the air in the furnace doorhas nothing to do with the ability to heat his home, and goes away in a very short time. Iexplained to [redacted] that it was possible that air may have en~xed his water lineswhen he was installing the furnace, I told him that he should try to get the air out ofhisexisting water lines to keep the heat exchanger in his home fivm air locking1 I explained to[redacted] that other customers have had plumbing issues when they first install thefurnace and once they get the air out oftheir lines the system will work as designed. [redacted] trust in steel.[redacted] called back the next day and complained about the amount ofcoal he was usingand the duration it would last. I spoke with [redacted] again on 2/24/15. He was stillstating the same issues and was growing tired oftiying to get the firniace to work. Herequested to bring the furnace back for a kill refund. I eqlained to [redacted] that wehave other customers that use this model offrimace while burning coal and they do nothave any issues with the unit I explained to [redacted] that we know for a fact that theunit will work, his issues are resulting fiom his heat e’ccbanger/oirculatingpump which arehis resporisibifily to supply and set up~ I asked [redacted] ifhe had a certified installerhook up the furnace for him or ifhe did it himself. He told me that he installed the furnacehimselfbut had a certified installer look at the system. Since the furnace is now a usedproduct we offered [redacted] halfofhis money back ifthe fiunace was returned to us ingood condition.
