Cornerstone Asphalt Paving

The company quoted a low price with great promises of superior workmanship etc. Was anxious to complete the job but I couldn't because of family emergency now they have disappeared. I am out half of the quoted price.

As others report on this site they are a rip off, poor workmanship oil every where look like a pond in the middle of my driveway after it rains for over 24 hours. Say they will come out but never do.

This company came to our last year stating they had extra asphalt and gave a good price for paving. The son was the person we dealt with. He stated we could pay the balance at the end of the job. His father Brent then contacted my husband and said all monies were due at the start of the job and was very rude. Our driveway in spots is breaking down and did not make it through the winter. We tried to contact Mr George and again he was very rude stating we needed to maintain the driveway. Our driveway has not been in a year yet. Cornerstone is suppose to come and look at it but they have not shown up. We have been unable to reach them. I would not recommend them

Do not hire this company for anything...This is a fly by night company that approaches your front door with a cheap price, 5 year guarantee and promises that you will be completely satisfied. When they come to remove and replace your driveway, they park their equipment on your lawn, which leaks hydraulic fluid and kills your lawn. The new asphalt has course stone in it that leaves a very rough pavement. I have 4 potholes that have come up 1.5 years after the new driveway was installed. All attempts to contact them to repair the potholes have gone unanswered. They are completely ignoring me. Have contacted a lawyer to see what can be done in small claims court.
I have received an estimate to correct the shoddy work and materials from another asphalt company and they are quoting $8700 to fix the driveway.
