Review: I have not received the correct amount of security deposit back, and it's been 3 and a half months since I moved. I have made numerous attempts to contact the manager at the rental office and left messages, and never received a call back from her. I personally stopped by the office and was told the check (with the corrected amount) was processed on 7/10. However, I have not received anything.

Calls were also made to their management company in ** (including voicemails), and did not receive any call back.Desired Settlement: Would like an update of the status of my security check and process be expedited with a delivery confirmation including expected delivery date.

Review: On 7/24/14 J[redacted] applied online for an apartment at the Cornerstone of Bedford in [redacted](email confirmation recevied). At that time a $100 application fee was requested and paid via credit card. In addition a $100 fee to hold an apartment was also requested and paid via credit card. [redacted] then submitted an application for [redacted] (my son) who was going to live in the apartment, I was just the guarantor for the apartment. Another $100 fee was requested and paid via credit card. Debits from my account occurred as follows:7/25 - $1007/25 - $1007/29 - $100After numerous attempts to contact the leasing office to confirm my application and apartment via both email and voice mail I was unable to contact them to confirm and moved to another apartment complex as I had a hard move in date of 08/15. When I decided to move to another complex I left a voice mail and sent an email stating I could not wait for them to return my inquiries and would appreciate them returning my fees as, to the best of my knowledge, they had done nothing with my application to warrant keeping the fees.On 8/22/2014 Cordnerstone at Bedford called saying they were following up on my application, almost 4 weeks after I had submitted it. When I stated I moved on to another apartment but would appreciate them refunding my fees they refused. I stated that I did not know why they would keep them since they were just calling me today to say they recieved the application that they obviously had done no work on their end that would justify keeping them outside of it is 'not their policy' to refund the application or holding fees.I notified them I woudl be submitting a compliant to the CT Revdex.com regarding the matter as it seemed very unfair from a consumer's perspecive to keep monies for no services rendered at all.Desired Settlement: I would like my $300 simply refunded as the business performed no business functions for me even after I repeatedly and reasonably tried to inquire.
