John was a professional from the start. The itemized estimate was easy to follow. John was up front with all cost and clearly stated all the work that would be done during the renovation. John consulted with us during the renovation to ensure we would be happy with the end result. Through out the renovation John and his crew were pleasant and professional. The bathroom and kitchen renovation came out perfect.

Review: We hired a general contractor to do a gut renovation on a co-op we purchased in NYC. After experiencing significant issues and delays, we had to fire him. Upon bringing in a new contractor to repair and finish the previous work, several significant code violations and safety issues were discovered which has caused us to shell out significantly more money to make our home safe and livable (to the tune of $35K and rising). In addition, we have incurred significant financial hardships in terms of storage fees and external housing costs while these problems are being remedied. We contacted the original contractor who agreed to give us a refund but has since been avoiding our phone calls and attempts to collect that refund.Desired Settlement: We would like the original contractor to refund the money it has cost us to repair his shoddy, unsafe work.
