customer refused to do any of the recommended repair work, therefore there will be no credit for the diagnostic repair chargesThe customer was well aware of this

I am rejecting this response because: It is incorrect statement from the business that I was informed, prior to repairs, about the necessity of performing the system recharge for the purpose of diagnosing the problemOn the day of "repair", after I dropped my car with them, I first received the telephone call from MrElroy J*** to notify me that they identified the problem -- namely that the system just needed to be recharged -- and whether they may proceed to perform the recharge and fix the issueI thatWithin an hour or so, I received another call from MrElroy J*** to let me know that the original diagnosis was incorrect and that they in fact would need to perform a far more extensive work, namely to replace the pump, coil, etcI did not accept this repairIn addition to charging me for the wrong diagnosis (freon charge out), when I later came to pick up my car, the invoice handed to me stated that "...While the repairs we perform today insure that your system is in working order, other parts, not related to the work we performed today could fail in the not too distant future." (Please let me know should you need a copy of the invoice.) I immediately -- before driving the car off the lot -- notified a service manager that I should not be charged for the wrong diagnosis, and, in addition, that the invoice was misleading; the AC was not working when I came by to pick up my car, though the wording implied that somehow what they did that day ensured that the system was in working order, and that, ostensibly, other parts could fail in the "...not too distant future..." (which they already did, of course)
