followed to use and was explained by the technician to the customer. However, with that being said, the customer appeared to have been inebriated while the technicians were on-site that morning around 9am. Because of the assumed inebriation, we believe the customer does not remember the problems that were explained to him that were indeed caused by the customer. The customer informed Bryan (owner of Cornerstone) around 9am on November 13th thatCornerstone had been replaced as his service provider and we were no longer to do business with him. We assumed at that point that we were no longer needed by said customer. The customer has sent several threatening text messages late at nights, seemingly again inebriated due to his inability to form complete sentences and words. While Cornerstone does not offer warranties on used equipment unless otherwise noted on customer paperwork, we do stand by our equipment and ensure that we never leave our customers out to dry. This customer was no exception. We ensured that everything was working properly on his lift and if his engine “blew up”, I have no doubt that it may have been caused by customer actions. Additionally, we did not make a sale to this customer for this forklift. We were simply the vendor for a financing entity who sold the forklift to this customer. Cornerstone Industrial sold this forklift to Vision Financial Group, whom then financed the forklift to said customer. Any warranty disputes should be dealt with by Vision Financial Group, who owns the forklift. In the six years that we have been in business, we have never had a customer like this customer. This customer simply cannot be satisfied and thrives off of confrontation. The customer even got confrontational with the financing company over having to pay insurance on his forklift. The customer also was confrontational with me early in the sales process because I was in a meeting with another customer and did not answer my cell phone in an hour’s time. These are just a few examples of the customer’s unreasonable actions. I apologize that you have been included in the problems with this customer. The customer has made several threats to our business and has made it clear that he seeks to defame our business in any way possible. Thank you for your time.Best Regards.*
