For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Cornerstone DID NOT remove roots they poked an inch wide hole through them which plugged up within 2 weeks hence the 2nd callback. I feel they did not do their job as there were multiple spots where there were roots which the company we called in after them showed us on camera. I feel Cornerstone did not do what they were paid to do since there was 90%+ blockage in multiple spots and feel I should be reimbursed a large portion if not all of monies paid to them since we had issues within 2 weeks. Also if they can't warranty something they did 2 weeks after service is performed maybe they shouldn't perform said services, that to me is very poor business practice. We are standing by our previous response. We do not warranty clogs and that first Sunday night we serviced Mr*** we did clear the clog and the plumbing was workingMr*** than called on a Sunday again (furious) and demanded to have someone out to clear the clog again. I did inform Mr*** that we do not warranty clogs, but I would send my service plumber out free of charge that Sunday night for him. CornerStone Plumbing has done everything to service this customer. We cleared the clog, we warrantied a clog (which we never do) to accommodate the customer. Thank you,

On Sunday April 24, 2016, Mrs. Jo [redacted] called the Cornerstone Plumbing answering service due to the issue of every time they flush their toilet, the basement drain will overflow. I explained to Mrs. [redacted] the charges of Sunday calls which are that we charge $249.00 per hour and it is port to port and...

also since it was a sewer issue, the service plumber would have to go to office and retrieve the sewer trailer. The machine used to clean sewers out is too large to fit in service plumbers truck and therefore is only used when it is necessary as it was in this situation. I also informed the customer that it was also possible that we could come out on Monday mid-morning to service the clogged sewer and that the rates would be less than a call on Sunday. Sunday emergency calls are rated at double time and all of this was explained during this phone call. Mrs. [redacted] told me that she wanted someone out on Sunday and did not want to wait until Monday. I then called my service plumber, Matt [redacted], to tell him to contact Mrs. [redacted] and inform her as to when he could make it there. Matt then called her and went out to her house on Sunday.While Matt was there he cleared the roots to get the sewer flowing and tested the sewer before he left. Matt notified the customer that there seemed to be roots in the sewer causing the clog. The customer did inform my service plumber that they have had past problems with the sewer and that the clog may be from the neighbor’s line. The invoice was a total of $784.75. Charges were for 2.75 hours of labor at $249.00 per hour and the Sewer/Snake machine for $100.00. Mrs. [redacted] paid with a credit card.I did receive a call from Mr. [redacted] the next week about the invoice being too high in price and was upset that his wife agreed to having the service done on Sunday instead of Monday. I did inform the customer that his wife was told it was port to port and the charges. On Sunday May 8, 2016 at 9:15 PM I got a call from Mr. [redacted] and he wanted urgent service and wanted a plumber back out to his home immediately. I called the Matt and he went out to the [redacted] home free of charge and cleared the sewer for a second time and again mentioned that there were roots in the sewer. We did not charge anything for the second Sunday night call and typically we do not warranty backups, but due to the problems that the customer was having, we made an exception in an effort to be helpful. This was a savings of $500.00 or more for the 2nd Sunday call to the customer.Mr. [redacted] did call again regarding this matter and wanted a full refund for all the work done. He did state that he called another company to help him with his sewer and this company cleared the sewer and only charged him $500.00 during the normal business hours. I tried to explain that every company is different and that we at Cornerstone Plumbing do not warranty clogs. I could not get Mr [redacted] to understand, so I then had Steve Adkins, our owner, talk to Mr. [redacted]. Steve explained to Mr. [redacted] that we do not warranty clogs and that we did help the customer by not charging for the 2nd Sunday call.Cornerstone Plumbing believes we did help the customer the best we could. This was 2 Sunday calls and we at Cornerstone Plumbing did the best to our abilities for this customer as we would for all of our customers.

Had a water heater break. Called cornerstone and was up and running again within 4 hours. Great people on the phone and the service was outstanding. Friendly, fast , great work, and affordable. Will use them for all my plumbing needs....

Cornerstone Plumbing is a good company to work with. They performed connection to our sewer and water. The workers were always pleasant and listened to our preferences. Many of their employees have been in the business for years and have the experience and knowledge to complete the job. Given the complexity of the job, they did their best to complete the job in a timely manner. They were also good about cleaning up the large, unavoidable mess made in the yard. They got off to a slow start at first but did get the job completed and I am confident they did the job right, which is the most important. [redacted] was always friendly and tried to make the experience the least stressful as possible.
