I am rejecting this response because: I was not told an amount that was going to be charged to my account prior to being charged indicating to me that they were pulling one over on meGive a person a blank check and see what they doClearly integrity is lacking here to not say upon charging me what the amount isI was not given an estimate of time upon arriving at my property and did not agree to hours of laborIf that would have been told up front I would have went with the company with a flat fee of hours is a bloated time frame based on talking to plumbing professionals for what this job should have takenLabor should have only been hourI trusted a company that reassured me it was a simple job and should not be more than $

Anytime someone calls for an estimate for an unstop we always preface that estimate with "each case is different"Though most of our unstops are in the $range we cannot tell what is the cause of the stoppage or how long it will take to clear itWe are always very clear about this to anyone

[redacted], I apologize for the delay in our response.  On 11/19/2015 we received a call from [redacted], who rents property located at [redacted]s from Mr. [redacted] (property owner).  We were informed that Mr. [redacted] was out of the country.  The original call...

was to unstop two bathtubs that were backing up.  We dispatched a technician on 11/19/2015, he assessed the situation and used a sewer cable machine to unstop the line.  Before the technician left the premises he made sure that the toilets were flushing and all drains were flowing. On 11/20/2015 we received another call from Mr. [redacted] saying that his lines were backed up yet again.  We informed him that we do not warranty unstops because we have no idea what is going down the drains, or what other problems may be present in the sewer pipes, but we did offer to come back out and unstop the line and suggested we camera the line.  The camera job was suggested due to the fact that if the line was clear one day and clogged the next, this usually indicates that there is a bigger issue that we cannot determine by visual inspection.  Mr. [redacted] declined service at this time but did  notify Mr. [redacted] who contacted us.  Mr. [redacted] was very upset that the unstop was not guaranteed and felt that we should come back out for free to fix the problem.  He spoke with one of our master plumbers, Jason Pina, who explained to him that if your sewer line continues to back up, you have a bigger problem that just a simple clog.  He also informed Mr. [redacted] that without sending a camera down the line to see what the problem is, we have no way of knowing what our next step should be.  After over 30 minutes of conversation, Mr. Pina decided that in an effort to resolve the situation, and as a favor to Mr. [redacted], we would go back out, clear the line and camera it—all free of charge.  This is not our normal protocol-to perform service free of charge. After the camera work was done on 11/23/2015 it was discovered that the problem was actually on the City of Waco’s property.  The City’s problem was actually causing [redacted] to have sewer problems.  We called the City of Waco to inform them and they had a crew onsite by 11/24/2015 to fix the problem.  We informed Mr. [redacted] of this outcome.  When he called Jason back, after speaking to the City of Waco, he apologized and thanked us for our work.
