Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/06/22) */
On March 16/2015 Ms. [redacted] towed her vehicle a 2003Toyota Camry to our shop. Upon receipt or the vehicle the engine was completely dismantled with the heads, block nuts and bolts in a box known as a "basket case", Ms. [redacted] was advised that...

the engine was in bad condition and needed an oil pump and a complete engine "rebuild". Ms. [redacted] declined engine rebuild and oil pump due to finances, Customer was given a written estimate ()I' 1200 for a Head Job which would include R & I Cylinder Head, Grind or R & R valves, transfer all necessary components and make all adjustments. Customer was advised additional cost could incur upon further inspection of the vehicle. Customer agreed and signed written estimate and made a $300.00 deposit. While work was being completed on vehicle customer was advised of additional charges and repairs needed. customer agreed.
On March 31, 2015 Ms. [redacted] was contacted to pick up her vehicle, the work was completed. Customer did not respond to notification, until April 10, 2015 at which time she paid $1200.00 with a balance of $243.00 was owed. A payment plan was arranged due to her finances, Ms. [redacted] agreed to pay $ 20,00 a month on the remaining balance. Ms. [redacted] drove her vehicle for approximately 3 weeks without complaints or making a payment.
On May 22, 2015 Ms. [redacted] arrived and made a $30.00 payment and stated that her vehicle was not driving properly and made a noise (oil pressure check), she was advised that a oil pump,4 coils needed to be replaced, which she declined due to financial issues. Customer was advised that the above mentioned repairs along with the declined repairs (approx $900) recommended in March would cause her vehicle not to run properly. Ms. [redacted] stated that due to her financial situation she was unable to complete any more repairs. Customer stated she wanted to get rid of vehicle due to it issues, customer was offered a $1000.00 for vehicle. Approx two weeks later Ms. [redacted] test stating she wanted to trade the vehicle instead of sale it, she was advised to pick up vehicle and pay remaining balance of $213.00.
On June 9, 2015 customer arrived with and unknown male to pick up vehicle. Customer was advised and agreed to take possession of vehicle in current condition with not further repairs. Customer agreed to continue to make payment on the balance of $213.00 and took possession vehicle.
All work that was documented on written and signed estimate was completed. Other stated repairs which are recommended and need were declined by customer, which is the cause of her dissatisfaction.
As us June 19, 2015, customer has possession of vehicle and not further payments have been made, issue resolved.
