[redacted] ordered some flooring from us in April of this year. Material was on back order, but arrived shortly in the beginning of May. I was calling him for a month to set a delivery date, he was avoiding calls. Finally, he finished paying for the order and set a delivery date for June 30th...

after I threatened with storage fees. We provide a complimentary free delivery on certain size orders. Although it is free to the customer, it is not free to us. The driver drove out and no one was at the property. The driver called, no answer from [redacted]. Turns out we had the wrong address on file, although that paperwork had his signature of approval on it. Because of this, we re-delivered at no charge. [redacted] failed to order mouldings in a timely fashion and because of how this transaction went, [redacted] at our office extended another free delivery for his mouldings. The moulding was ordered beginning of August and although the order does not qualify in quantity for the free delivery, because it was promised...it was extended to the customer. At the time of the order, the date was discussed and he was added to the calendar. The day of delivery, the driver kept calling Mr. [redacted] and he would not pick up the phone. Since we have other deliveries to do, we went ahead and brought the material. No one was at the house and Mr. [redacted] refused for us to leave the material safely on the side of the house. He did not want to be responsible for it. Since he's not there, we're not able to take responsibility for it either. He was given the option of us leaving the moulding; picking up at our warehouse or paying for a delivery on a different day. All the options were refused by [redacted]. It was a complete repeat of the first disastrous delivery. On daily basis we deliver to 3-5 customers and we never have issues like this. The issue with communication is that [redacted] does not pick up his phone and he expects the delivery at a vary narrow time window on a Friday afternoon and at no charge. The expectation is not realistic and his material is still sitting here in the warehouse if he would like to pick it up. A very rare case of an unhappy customer.
