Hello [redacted],   Thank you for your letter.  I read the customer’s concerns and I disagree with customer’s statement regarding June 29, 2017.  Our pest control vendor door tagged the wrong apartment door and he did not actually enter the customer’s apartment as she has stated. ...

There was no contractual violation pertaining to this date.  The previous complaint from February 21, 2017, I do not have a frame of reference for this complaint so I cannot comment on this.   However, it is paramount to our business that our residents be very happy living with us.  I met with [redacted] today and she confirmed that the resolution that she stated on the bottom of the complaint, that she be let out of her lease, was indeed what she was seeking.  [redacted] and I agreed that she be allowed to break her lease and move out with only a 30-day notice and no lease break penalty.   We resolved this resident’s concern and we thank you for assisting our resident with this process.  Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance in this matter.  We will look forward to your notifying that this case has been closed with satisfactory results.   Sincerely,     [redacted] | Community Director Corona Pointe Resort | 3957 Pierce Street | Riverside | CA | 92505 P: ###-###-#### | F: ###-###-#### | W: CoronaPointeResort.com

Dear Mr. [redacted],
In regards to your request to sign a 12 month lease term; we are unable to offer that to you at this time. We have notified you that we are requesting possession of unit #500 be returned to us no later than the expiration of the...

60 day notice served March 31, 2016. Please understand that by serving said notice, we are under no legal obligation to provide you with a reason. However, as you know, we are transitioning to a smoke free community. You have signed two leases, one on December 28, 2013 and another on January 16, 2015. Both leases contain the verbiage that as a Resident of the above property you are aware that your residence is transitioning to smoke free and you are not permitted to smoke in your apartment home, patio or anywhere inside the community. We thank you, in advance, for your understanding and wish you the best in your future endeavors.
Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/04/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept their response. As I do not smoke it has nothing to do with why they're asking me to leave. Okay legally you do not have to have a reason. Between a tenant of 2 years is about to go to surgery and asking them to leave will cause a medical hardship on this person I believe it is bad business and very cold hearted. This is basically my home I'm about to go to surgery on may 11th anime now will have nowhere to go after surgery and I need time to recover. The request to sign a lease was not unacceptable. A 1 year lease would give me time to properly find somewhere else to be. This is the worst renters experience I have ever had and I would never be for anyone to this complex if this is the way they treat people.
