Upon introduction, C [redacted] Construction presented itself as an outstanding business with Pete C [redacted] introducing himself as the owner and personally calling and e-mailing promptly when questions needed answers regarding a canopy we would be installing outside of our facility When it came time to execute an agreement between our business and C [redacted] Construction, we agreed to 50% of the funds up front since the work was "custom and non-refundable when I purchase the materials." The check was deposited within days of our business signing it We agreed to waiting 4-weeks for all material to arrive before starting the project After weeks, we did not hear from MrC [redacted] and it took us leaving multiple messages before hearing back When we did, he claimed he would be sending people out the following week When that did not happen, we called back to find out what had happened MrC [redacted] claimed they had to go to "another job and will be there first thing in the morning." A crew of people showed up 2-days later, drilled about holes in a concrete wall and wandered over to another canopy, appearing to compare the install and how the first company did it This was the last time we saw anybody from C [redacted] ConstructionPete C [redacted] promised that he would be over personally to finish the work, which was never completed MrC [redacted] agreed to refund our deposit since the work continued to go incomplete, which never happened After multiple phone calls and e-mails went unreturned, we forced to take our request to small claims Multiple attempts at contact have been attempted with MrC [redacted] appearing to dodge phone and e-mail now

THIS RESPONSE IS QUOTED FROM *** *** & *** *** IS IN AGREEMENT
*** *** is the Organizer, *** *** and *** *** are joint Governing Authority of Coronado Construction LLC. *** (to whom we wrote the deposit check) cashed our $10,check June 12, and gave $10,cash money to *** & *** confirm this same story. There is no legal statute that requires us to make the check out to the company name where an LLC has been established*** and *** are listed as members of the LLC which constitutes being an owner of the company and both are able to receive payment for the company in their namesIt is required by Texas law that monies paid are to be put in a
“Construction Trust Fund” which was not doneA civil suit against Coronado Construction LLC filed April awarded a default judgment to plaintiffs for deceptive trade practice. *** disclosed to us that 1) *** signed other contracts and received $85,and failed to honor the contracts 2) he was going to dissolve the LLC 3) *** was a crook. We have requested our $10,be returned and they have refused This is all documented in the letter from attorney *** ** *** dated July 31, 2014.
***’s son, *** ***, signed the contract also & represented himself as a Principal of the company. *** & *** visited our residence 3+ times together & represented themselves & partners.

She is right there was no communication they give my X partner the money and he left with it since they put it under his personal name not the company name, anyway I called too many times and I did send email that I'm sending guys to do the job since I feel bad that they spend there money try to...

Mr. C[redacted] agreed to refund our deposit since the work continued to go incomplete, which never happened. After multiple phone calls and e-mails went unreturned, we forced to take our request to small claims.
