Review: I was deeply dissatisfied with the Coronado Inn for a multitude of reasons. When we checked in for our vacation on 8-3-14 we found out that our reservation had been cancelled and that our credit card had been charged for one night-$187.11 (per their cancellation policy). I had brought our confirmation email with me and showed this to the clerk at the desk. He said our room was still available but that we would have to check in again the next day for the remainder of our 6 day stay. However, the clerk stated that if we did not want to check in again the next day that we could pay for the next 6 nights in advance (for a of total $1247.40) to alleviate checking in again on Monday. I agreed to the later and my credit card was charged the next 6 nights. I received 2 receipts for the above transactions. When we checked out on Sunday 8-10, the same clerk who checked us in was at the desk. He stated that we owed a total of $1367.52 however we had already paid for our entire stay on 8-3. I logged on to my credit card app which reflected a pending charge on 8-10 for $1367.52 and 2 charges that had cleared on 8-3 for $187.11 and $1247.40. I showed this to the clerk and stated that the pending charge needed to be removed (I also showed the clerk the 2 receipts given to me BY HIM on 8-3 reflecting payment for the hotel room in full). The clerk said he needed to speak to my bank to clarify that we had already paid for the room. The associate at my credit card company spoke directly to the clerk, she told him that 2 charges had already occurred for the hotel room and that she was going to remove the pending charge of $1367.52 that the hotel had placed on my card. At that point the clerk said he would call his IT department and see what they could do. I told him they were NOT AUTHORIZED to make any further charges to my credit card. On 8-13 I reviewed my credit card statement only to find a charge from Coronado Inn for $1367.52 on 8-10. The charges are now in disputeDesired Settlement: I would like to see a full refund (totaling $1434.51) placed back to my card for our entire stay due to the poor customer service we received at the hotel at check in and check out and also for the condition of the hotel room-room number 60 (not mentioned above but also a major issue- the a/c was leaking water during our entire stay-maintenace was notified and did not fix the issue, there was dirt and grim in the a/c window unit which was never cleaned out during our stay, the carpets were stained and dirty, the bathroom had dirty towels left in it upon checking in, the lamp in the bedroom wasn't working, phone was not working in the room, and my daughter-who has asthma/allergies-got sick while at the hotel due to the poor conditions for the room). I am completely dissatisfied with the this hotel and will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone

Review: My self as well as my family stayed at the Inn the weekend of September 25th 2015 for 3 nights. Upon arrival we checked into the first room where we found hair and dirt in the shower. We immediately went to the front desk to change rooms. When I checked into the second room there were several bugs on the mattress. I showed the manager and housekeeper. I was then moved to a different room with the same issue of the bugs on the mattress. The manager was with me as I pulled the mattress out to check.

I was then moved back to the first room which was cleaned again. The manager Arron explained that the staff thought it was a stay over and not a check out so they did not clean it as such. This room was OK. We filled out a incident report for the hotel. The manager said she would discount us per night however that never happened. We were told that the owner would call us however that didn't happen either.

We have called the Inn 15-20 times trying to talk with the owner. Have left messages for him with no response. We have been told he is there everyday. To call back tomorrow and ask for Ledge. We have spoken with the manager who stated That the owner will contact us, she has to wait for his approval for the refund. We have also sent a email to the hotel in hopes the owner will get it yet still no response.

We are at the end of our ropes with this business. All we want is for the owner to call and a refund to be made. Revdex.com is our last hope.Desired Settlement: Owner to contact us and refund to be made as promised by the Inn.
