I am rejecting this response because:At no time during the estimate did the salesman ever mention or discuss a separate charge for pool caulk Nor did he say it wouldn't be included as is always the norm with finishing a tile job.At no time was this a hidden issue or add on as they like to refer to in their section 3A of their contract If they had disclosed this charge of $($per linear foot) for pool caulk in their estimate there would have never been a resulting contract.......and they know it! I would never of hired them.I would like to add that I have not been contacted by the owner and he has not come out to look at the job
Regards,

04/29/Dear Revdex.com,
14pt;"> We have a contract with Mrs*** which is now in the process of completion of the services that are described on the contract that she signed and accepted both prices and services Our contract indicates on the second page, section 3A, that any additional work not described on the contract will be discussed with the customer for extra costs At the time of the estimate, it was recommend to Mrs*** to install the caulking in between the tile and the deck to prevent water from penetrating and affecting the duration of the tile Coronado's gives a price for the installation of the caulking because is a service that we provideIn this case the cost of her caulking installation is $2,500, however we gave her a discount, for being an existent customer, of $leaving the total at $1, In this complaint, we noticed that her main concern is the price due to her investigations on *** for the installation of caulking which she knows is a service that is necessary and was never included on her original contract because at the time it did not seem necessary to install new caulkingAfter the installation of the new tile and other activity she had going on her deck by another company, her existing caulking began to deteriorateWhat Mrs*** is researching on *** might not involve the same type of service we are offering to her Mrs*** has the option and right to contact another company to provide this service to herWe have the best intentions to complete the work on the existing contract and do our job as best as possible I would also like to mention that other companies gave Mrs*** estimates for the renovation of her swimming pool and they did not include anything related to the caulking neither price or installation

August 13, 2015Dear *** ***,Thank you for taking the time to speak with me today, in regards to complaint ID# ***The nature of this correspondence is to advise you, that we have been in contact with the individual that raised the above mentioned complaintI will include correspondence
between us, so that our attempt in helping this customer does not go unnoticedWe never assured her that we would be there that weekend, in fact we had a conversation with her on July 25th where we advised her and confirmed that we would be at her home thatMonday the 27" to take a look at a crack that frankly did not exist, it was actually a strand of a bristled brush that we used during the plaster installationThis appointment was confirmed when she reached our emergency lines as there are some weekends we do not open the officeWe have tried numerous times even after we took care of said mention issue to reach her, just to see how every thing is going and if she was content, unfortunately we have left several messages with no replyI would like to correct information mentioned in her complaint, where she alleges that she paid for the completion of this project in cash, that is not true she paid with checks, in which I have copies of and can include for your reviewWe believe this matter to be closed as we have not heard a thing from her even with our efforts to locate herWe truly hope that because of the miscommunication with this particular customer, it does not give us a bad reference with the Revdex.comHere at Coronado's Pool Plaster we do our very best to meet every ones needs and standards no we are not perfect, but for sure getting close.Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office at you convenience, you can ask to speak with Tisha Coleman in the customer service relations department at the number below.Best Regards,

Tell us why
05/02/Dear Revdex.com,
If the sales representative did not offer the caulking or mention any extra charges on his first visit when we gave Mrs*** her first estimate then it was because first of all she did not ask for it and the installation of the caulking is not part of the tile installation which consists of installing the mortar bed, tile and grout
I believe it is to her understanding that all we are doing is recommending her to have caulking installed in between the tile and the deck so that her pool renovation is completeThe reason we are offering this service is because of the deterioration we noticed when we removed the tile and caused by other work she had done on her deck by another companyShe received other estimates from other companies who didn't give her a price for the installation of the caulking which she mentioned in a previous conversation
Mrs*** should of had noticed in her contract that we never mentioned anything about the caulking and if her pool requires it we can help her, however we cannot do it for freeThis service consists of two of our workers going out to her house to install the sealant, which is separate from the work described on the contract for her pool renovation
The Owner of Coronado's Pool Plaster is coming back from a trip on May 2ndHe will be glad to give Mrs*** a call to make this situation clear
We are being flexible by giving her a discounted price, however she is more than welcomed to hire another company to do the installation of the caulking for her
After a meeting with my supervisor , we came to the conclusion of installing the caulking for $1,instead of $1,which is the price we gave her beforeAlso I want to make clear that we never told Mrs*** she had to pay $2,for this service like she assures we didWe said that $2,would be the original price but we were going to charge her $1,
Thank you for your time here
