Review: Customer was picked up at approximately at 9:20am by CTG Car Service Car number [redacted] Black Sedan cell number ###-###-####. At 10:29 [redacted] called to say he was lost. Mr. Pablo Acevedo was unable to find the Hospital entrance. Family members were unable to assist [redacted] as he was unable to give his exact location. Family members searched area and found [redacted] walking on [redacted] and took him to [redacted] said the driver was unsure of where the hospital was located and traveled to different areas of Queens. [redacted] is elderly and does not speak English. He was not aware that he was being dropped off at a different location. Due to this error [redacted] would not be ready for his 12pm pick up. At 11:32am I contacted Access-a-Ride to request a trip for a later time. They informed me that the 12pm trip would be canceled and a new trip scheduled. Access a ride said that CTG would call me with a new pick up time. At 1pm I had not received a call so I proceeded to call CTG. CTG told me that the only information they had in their system was that the 12pm pick up was cancelled and that they had not received a call from Access a ride to schedule a new trip. I called Access a Ride and a representative confirmed that they had in fact spoken to [redacted] from CTG at 12:01 and had given her a new pick up time of 12:30pm. Access a Ride also had in their notes that at 12:05 [redacted] at CTG) called Access a Ride back to confirm the new pick up time of 12:30pm and gave a confirmation number for the trip of [redacted] The Access a Ride representative said that, apparently, [redacted] did not update their system at CTG and a car was never sent out. [redacted] told the Access a Ride representative that it looks like [redacted]'s name had been misspelled and that could have been the cause of the mix up. Access a Ride representative said CTG would call as soon as they had a car available. At 2pm I had still not received a call from CTG so I called and asked to speak to [redacted] an [redacted] answered the phone. He put me on hold for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes he answered the phone and asked who I was waiting for. I said I was holding for [redacted]. He continued to put me on hold at least another 3 times. After which, he disconnected my call. I called again and he told me [redacted] was not in but transferred me to [redacted]. The time now was 2:30pm. [redacted] said my father had a scheduled pick up time of 1:45pm but there were no cars available. I had not received a call informing me of this information. I asked [redacted] for his [redacted] name which he refused to give me. I asked him to transfer me to a [redacted] The man who answered the phone was very rude and refused to give me his name. I explained the problem and he said there was nothing he could do. I asked his name again and he started to laugh and said his name was something that sounded like "[redacted]" which was obviously not his name but was being facetious. I asked him to spell it and he said "[redacted]" then hung up the phone. At 2:37pm I called again and asked [redacted] again for his [redacted] name which he refused to give me. He transferred me to [redacted] an [redacted] who was very nice who said the AM [redacted]is [redacted]. and the PM [redacted]is [redacted]. both of which were not available. She then transferred me to [redacted] a [redacted]. I can safely say I have never had a more unprofessional conversation in my life. As I tried to explain to him that [redacted] had an original 12pm pickup, he cut me off saying "Why are you calling me about a 3 hour ago pick up?" He said "I don't have time for this" He would not allow me to explain what was happening and continued to speak over me. He was talking extremely loud. I had to raise my voice to tell him that a new pick up was scheduled for 1:45pm and I was just calling to confirm that they received the update form Access a Ride. I had to repeat that very loudly at least 3 times until he heard what I was saying. When he finally heard he said "oh. Let me check". He said they didn't have a car available and hung up the phone. At this point, a family member went to pick up [redacted].I am writing because I am upset by the way CTG Car Service handled [redacted]'s trip. The level of unprofessionalism was extreme to say the least. The MTA needs to contract car service companies that will provide the high level of service that MTA customers expect. Access a Ride customers are often sick and elderly people who need professional companies that will provide them with compassionate and respectful service. The behavior and miscommunications by the drivers and staff of CTG are completely unacceptable. I am requesting that the Revdex.com look into this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like to received an apology in writing.

Response:

At this time, I have not been contacted by Corporate Transportation Group, Ltd regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: I work for [redacted] Company and I called for a car service pickup from work on December [redacted], 2014. Our company ensures car service for us from work to home if we work passed the hour of 8pm. The driver exhibited road rage while taking me from work in downtown Manhattan to my home in Queens. The road rage prohibited him from operating the vehicle in a safe manner and made me fear for my safety while in the vehicle. I had to ask the driver three times to drive more carefully. The first two times were when he tried to merge from the middle lane to the right lane without enough room in the right lane to make the lane change safely, he was honked at by the driver who he was trying to cut off on both occasions. The third time was when he exited the expressway two exits before mine, speeding, in order to follow the same driver and yell at the driver, almost causing an accident as he was not paying attention to the road, but was solely focused on getting the other driver's attention. When I asked him at that point in time to please drive safely, he insisted that he needed to see who the other driver of the vehicle was. I did not sign the voucher upon leaving the vehicle, however when I received the voucher via email with the receipt from the car service, I saw that the voucher had been signed. I contacted the dispatcher at the car service on December [redacted], the morning after the incident to report the driver, file a complaint and request that I not receive that car in the future. The [redacted] said she would make a note and that I would receive a call from another department which handles the complaints. I have not heard back as of yet. The fee for that car service ride was charged to my credit card on January [redacted], 2015.Desired Settlement: The fee associated with that car service should be credited to my corporate card with [redacted] The credit card is on file with the Corporate Transportation Group. The fee that was charged was $52.91 under confirmation.
