I recently incorporated in Florida. I received a letter in the mail from Corporation Filing Service that appears legit asking for $155 for the corporate minutes. Total scam. The Florida Division of Corp doesn’t require Corp minutes. This is deceiving and company should be put out if business.

Scam! Do not hesitate to pay for anything! Why the government lets keep active those freaking scammers?

We received a letter in the mail stating that an annual meeting minutes form needed to be filed. They indicated that they could provide the service for $155. It looks like an official letter from the Florida Division of Business and Corporations, but it is a scam operation being run out of a UPS store preying on newly formed businesses. This is disgusting and I can't imagine how many people have been duped out of money. Especially immigrants who may not know how to research the law.

I also received this notice trying to get me to pay $155.

complete scam do not use them. This is not a government set up this is a third party company trying to get your money. they will send it out every year and I am sure they have tons of business that fall for this. this is extremely sad and horrible! they should be put out of business

I still don't know why the State of Florida permits companies to send "official" looking documents with prominent deadlines for corporations listed therein. These companies are the dregs of business society.

Scam. They look for people who have recently formed a company. The form looks like official business. They want money in exchange for filing your annual report. Total scam. It's free to file.

This is once again another scam trying to get money from those who start a LLC. The form looks legitimate and includes my LLC filing number. The document lists Florida laws, but they reference corporations, not LLCs. Do your homework and don't be fooled.

I received a document from this company that has been designed to look like it is from the State of Florida. I recently set up an LLC. They have stated that I need to send them $155.00 to be compliant with the Florida Business Corporations Act Chapter 607.1601(1). I initially thought it was legitimate but I knew I had been compliant with my filing so when I did some digging online, I found out it was a scam.

Company is falsely representing State of Florida with a deceiving mailer from a Compliance Division trying to look official. Sends a form requesting $155.00 for a corporate consent fee that I am not even required to prepare or pay for. Totally a scam looking official and offering fake services.
