CorpsElite Investigations Reviews (%countItem)

I usually don’t give reviews on social media, but I’m compelled to do the right thing. Our family hired Jonathan N on March 16, 2020 with the hope of helping us to find our missing transgender brother Paulino D ***. After paying Jonathan $5000, we didn’t hear from him. Several phone calls, messages, texts and emails but no response . We trusted him to help us as what he promised, Patiently waiting for updates , but we felt ignored, took us for granted, Enough is Enough. Our family is asking for refund of the payment. Be extra careful in dealing with this company. If I can give a ZERO Star rating, I will.

After reading the recent 1 star reviews my heart is truly broken and aching for the fellow people who put their faith in CorpsElite Investigations and in turn simply had their money taken and were victimized by false promises. I wish I had seen these reviews sooner. I am the family advocate for the D *** family in regards to their missing Sister Paula D ***, who went missing Sept 15th 2019 outside of the *** airport. I’ve worked closely with the family for the last 5 months and i’m so angry that they’ve been discarded, dehumanized and only given excuses for the last few months since paying their retainer. (This retainer was steep and they could not afford, but they managed to collectively pitch in as a family in the hopes of finding Paula).
I am a human right organizer as well as an activist in the LGBTQ community, I took a personal interest in this case and over time have formed a close bond with Paula's sisters and feel as if I know Paula herself, though I have never met her. I have done my own private research, contacted multiple search teams and resources, talked to the two detectives on the case personally and done a physical search of the last known intersection and surrounding areas Paula was seen on CCTV footage. I have written detailed information, times, dates, taken pictures canvassing the area, as well as kept a transcript of my conversations throughout this case. I have never been paid a penny (and do not want to). I simply am incredibly invested in finding Paula and answers surrounding the whereabouts of her disappearance. I really put my faith into Jonathan that he would utilize my information and research and finally find answers for the D *** family that they so deserve.
I was initially very hopeful when Jonathan contacted me on March 25th, I shared with him all my information and he seemed to have many ideas and avenues to further investigate. He said he would keep in contact and include me in the further investigation. After Emailing him PAGES of research, details on the case and transcripts i’d compiled I had no further response or contact with him. In retrospect I feel as if he simply skimmed through my research and used that as a starting base to make assumptions of what MAY have happened to Paula and used that to make false promises. I am deeply disappointed and I please ask you to do right by this family. They are an incredibly kind, giving and compassionate family that put their trust and faith in YOU. They have all truly suffered enough since the disappearance of Paula. Your tagline is “Seeking Clarity & Peace of Mind”, so please give this family in need peace of mind and do what is RIGHT.

I engaged CorpsElite in November 2018 to do a skip trace on my ex-wife. I paid $1500 in advance. As part of the service, they promised in writing to verify her physical address by actually seeing her enter or leave the residence, and taking a photo.
They delivered their report promptly, but never actually verified her address by going to the address and taking a photograph. I reminded ***, the *** about this contractual obligation, and he promised to fulfill it. But he never did. I never received confirmation of her address by means of a photograph or any other evidence. He simply reneged on his obligation.

Now - on Saturday March 21, 2020, I contacted *** via text message and asked him to resend me the skip trace information, because I had a computer problem and lost all information from that time frame. I got a call back right away from an employee telling me that *** would resend the information on the next business day. However, I never received it. I checked my junk mail thoroughly in case it had slipped through.

Since then I have called twice more, today being the latest, to request that they send me the information. Both times I was told that someone would call me back within 15 minutes. Nobody has ever called back, nor have I received the information I requested.

I am worried about my ex-wife because of the Corona virus, and would like to contact her.

The company is registered with the Revdex.com and has a good rating. However, there are serious complaints on *** about them, and I have added my own negative review. They claim on their website
[CorpsElite Investigations LLC embodies the same corps values "Honor, Courage, Commitment." As seen in the U.S.M.C. Delivering the same ELITE promise of professionalism to our private clients in ALL investigations we take]

Given that they failed to meet their contractual obligations with me in 2018, and have refused to resend the skip trace information that I paid for, I have to categorically state that their commitment to "Honor, Courage, Commitment" is ironic at best, and misleading in the extreme.

Please take action against this company to the extent that you can, and consider changing their rating.

CorpsElite Investigations Response • May 06, 2020

Good Afternoon, Everything was provided back in 2018. The client was unable to get ahold of us due to the impact of COVID-19. This was 2 years ago. The client when he had first reached out said nothing about wanting a refund or that we were a scam. He stated that he had lost everything that was given by CEI due to his computer crashing. The amount is false as well. He in fact only paid [$1,046.30]. NOT [$1,500.00] That is a Fraud as well as misrepresentation of the facts. And we do not deserve to be blasted on the Revdex.com for this. (see attachments)

This is where he admit’s that HE lost the information given. This is not a lack of provision or service paid for.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

ITEM 1) The original work contracted for was never completed, in spite of what CorpsElite said in their response. I have attached evidence to that effect.ITEM 2) They did promise to resend the report to me in March 2020, but did not. I have attached evidence to that effect. This is exactly what I stated when I opened the case. Here are details of the rejection:ITEM #1 DETAIL:In their response, they say "Everything was provided back in 2018."This is not true. I never received photos or videos of ***. They were obligated to do this - the attached invoice from them shows that photos and videos are to be provided. Without that, I have no proof that *** actually lived at the address they provided. In fact, *the documentation they provided in their responseshows that photos and videos are to be provided. In addition, I notified *** by email on November 6, 2018 that the report did NOT include verification of sighting ***. *CorpsElite has provided that email(remember that I lost my emails), and I am attaching their copy of it.I never received any further documentation from them after the original report. The original report DID NOT INCLUDE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS.If CorpsElite is able to show that they did in fact provide me with photos or videos, I would certainly like to see this.ITEM #1 SUMMARY: ORIGINAL JOB NOT COMPLETEDITEM #2 DETAIL:In their response, they say:"The client was unable to get ahold of us due to the impact of COVID-19."Again, this is not true. It is a convenient excuse, but in fact I contacted them - successfully - three times in March and April of 2020.Here is the most important part: On March 21, 2020, I received a voicemail from CorpsElite Investigation. I think the woman said her name was ***. *She acknowledged receipt of my emailand promised that *** would resend to me all of the information that I lost "in the next day".The transcript of that voicemail is attached. I have, of course, that voicemail on my phone. The phone number that sent me the voicemail is ***During the three or four weeks after March 21, 2020, I called CorpsElite two more times, and each time I successfully reached a representative. Both times, this person said that I would get a return phone call *within 15 minutesfrom an investigator. I never got a return phone call. The last time I called, which would have been in April, I told the representative that if I did not receive the materials that had been promised on March 21, I would write "a scathing review on ***". She said she would pass that along.I presume CorpsElite has records of these phone calls. Please ask them to provide.ITEM #2 SUMMARY: CorpsElite did NOT send the requested information in March 2020.HERE ARE SOME ADDITIONAL RESPONSES to CorpsElite's response.CorpsElite: "The client when he had first reached out said nothing about wanting a refund or that we were a scam. He stated that he had lost everything that was given by CEI due to his computer crashing."***: I have never asked for a refund, nor have I ever accused CorpsElite of being a scam. Perhaps they are confusing me with another *** review person. My review was professional and stated "Nobody has gotten back to me, ever. If they do respond and they do resend the skip trace information, I will post another review with a better rating."My *** review can be found here: ***CorpsElite: "The amount is false as well. He in fact only paid [$1,046.30]. NOT [$1,500.00] That is a Fraud as well as misrepresentation of the facts."***: Please tell *** that I am sorry to have gotten the amount wrong. Without the emails from that period, I had forgotten the amount. I didn't even remember how I had paid, and could not find it when I looked. I hardly think it is fraud, however. Is this "the best defense is a good offense"?LAST PART OF MY RESPONSECorpsElite: "And we do not deserve to be blasted on the Revdex.com for this. (see attachments)This is where he admit’s that HE lost the information given. This is not a lack of provision or service paid for."***: Well - the evidence provided by CorpsElite shows that *their original report did not include photos or videos*. I have maintained since the beginning that CorpsElite DID NOT COMPLETE THE JOB.Based on this, I think it is certainly true that a Revdex.com Case is justified. Remember two things: 1) the original contract was not completed, and 2) I was promised that *** would resend the report, which he did not.I find it ironic that if *** had just resent the report - AS PROMISED ON MARCH 21, 2020 - I would never have opened a Revdex.com Case, or written a negative *** review. In fact, *** still *has not sent the report*. ***, are you really going to blame COVID-19 for that?

I stand by my original complaints.

Regards

These people are scam , they took my money and didn’t do the job and stoped answering my phone calls now they just charged my credit card another time without my autorisation while they did said that they are going to refund me .

your claims that we are fraud are unsubstantiated. My staff worked tirelessly for your case and fulfilled our obligation per contract to ensure satisfaction. We could not close your case because your dispute with the credit card processing company put up to $9500.00 Of other client’s retainers on hold for up to 6 Months as stated by “***.” The credit card processing company *** was using at the time that your funds were being held by *** along with other case retainers was due to your original dispute with ***. We Worked the entirety of your case [15HRS] and evidence will be provided. You are bound to the contract you signed. At this point we understand you are and were not satisfied with the specific results however per SEC2 “PAYMENT.” Within the contract you digitally signed on 11/24/2019 .”*** Can NOT guarantee perfect results in ANY case, as every case is different, therefore refunds otherwise are considered unconstituted if the work agreed upon was performed.” The original $1500.00 You disputed with card pointe without written consent and or notice is STILL being held and when we reached out to you on Christmas Day of last year we discussed that. After approximately 6 Months those funds will be released however *** is void of control as to wether or not they send and or release those funds sooner. The work we have performed per obligations of the contract is anything but a scam and we have meticulously documented everything on your case. Payment has been reallocated for $1500.00 the originally agreed upon amount between you and ***. We will now be sending you your FULL case file through the mail. This will reflect record of everything done and substantially completed tasks on behalf of your case by *** and it’s Investigators. *** is willing to make compromise however visceral your comment’s may be we understand your frustration. If you are available to, please contact *** at ***. We want to work to resolve any misunderstandings and or miscommunication.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:
This message has nothing to do with my case after signing the contract the person who was supposed to work on my case contacted me and told me that he is going to assign my case to another person that will contact me , and nobody ever contacted me , when I contacted the company manager he told me that he will refund me but never did , and instead of giving me a refund they used my credit card today without my authorization to credit another payment of $1500 for no reason, it’s a complete fraud and it’s illegal to store your client credit card information to use it without permission , and why did you take another payment ? The contract states $1500 on November that I fully paid why after 3 months you use my credit card and take another $1500 without my authorization, this is stealing and it’s a fraud .I tried to reach to people working with this company but nobody is answering me , and the person who did tell me on November that he is going to refund me he did text me this morning asking me to keep him out of this because he left the company .The person who took my credit card information and use it two times for $1500 payments is not answering my calls or messages .This company is a total scam and they are not willing to give me my money back but I am not going to give up , I am going to sue them .
Regards

We are sorry for your inconvenience. You signed a contract and that contract will be upheld in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas. If you would like to obtain our acting attorney’s information please call *** and that information will be released upon request. If those are the steps you would like to take we understand your concern however no amount can be refunded. The only amount *** has at this point and time is the original retainer. The additional $1500.00 is being held by *** credit card processing. You can get your $1500.00 back upon request to ***. However the original retainer cannot be refunded to you at this time. We can however credit you hours to any future investigations you may want to initiate [15HRS] However any monetary refund will not be constituted and or appropriated back to you at this time. a copy of your case and it’s confidential pertaining records will be mailed out to the address on file. We hope to come to a resolution in any way possible to make up for not being able to appropriate a refund. God Bless. Thank you!

I am rejecting this response because:
This company is a big scam the original amount was credited on November and no job was done and while I was waiting for my refund they used my credit card without my authorization to take another $1500 this morning without even contacting me and this is against the law , you can’t use my credit card number to make another transaction , I don’t understand how did you do that . Storing people personal information and credit their cards without their consent is a crime it’s a fraud , you keep putting email address on here and phone number and the email is not working and nobody picks the phone , you are a real fraud
Regards

This company is a scam , don’t give them your credit card information they charged me twice without my authorization

I hired CorpsElite to help me find out who was cyber stalking me (hacking accounts, etc.) I was hesitant at first because I didn't think it'd be possible, but I took a chance. Jonathan and his team worked hard on my case and kept the lines of communication open during the process (which is important to me) AND they came up with answers. I'm very happy with their service and will use them again if a situation arises.

I would recommend this organization for professional and discreet services. I used services in a personal matter and the evidence collected was a quality which is used in a legal setting out of state. I was provided referrals and credentials prior to contracted services without pause. Communication was easily accessible with the owner.
