Mrs. [redacted],Again, I am sorry for anything that happened to cause you such dissatisfaction toward me and my company. I'm sure the company that replaced your roof only seven years ago did some landscape protection. I'm guessing that your landscaping matured since then. Unfortunately, your newer roof was in bad shape and needed to be replaced. You accepted our bid for the project which was $3,000.00 and $6,000.00 less than the other bids you received. Also, I was able to do the work in the time frame you requested. The rest was mentioned in my first statement which was completely accurate. Reimbursement for perennial plants that are being discarded by the new owners in not reasonable. I am happy to reimburse you for the solar light that was missing. Please let me know the replacement value of the light. Since you have not responded to my previous requests for the value and/or mailing address, I am unable to comply with your original request. I will also include copies of my credentials and proof of insurance for your satisfaction. I agree with you, this could have been handled differently when the project was completed to avoid all of this.Sincerely,[redacted]

Mrs. [redacted],I am sorry for any damage to your landscaping that occurred during the roof replacement. You stated that you needed the roof replaced as quickly as possible as the house was for sale and you wanted this improvement completed. The house was sold between signing the contract and when...

we started the work. You were also in the process of moving out.  The first time we met, we walked around the house and we discussed possible issues. I explained the possibilities of potential damage with a lot of weight (10,000 lbs in your case), the steep pitch of your house, and landscaping around the house. When you accepted my estimate, I agreed to start the project in early July as you requested. The project took three days to complete. When the project was completed we met for a final inspection. You mentioned three plants were damaged and one solar light was missing. I did not have an answer for the solar light but said I would ask the guys if they knew what happened to it. I ran my magnet around the house at your request. I carry a magnet for these circumstances because we want to ensure the best possible clean up of all roofing debris. The second time we met was August 9, 2015 for final payment. You had the check already made out for the bill to be paid in full. You had mentioned how unhappy you were with my company. As I left, I pulled over and called you. I asked if I could credit you for any damage and try to resolve any hard feelings. You mentioned you would not be happy no matter what I did. I did not press the issue as you had paid in full. On September 16, 2015, I reached out to the new owners of the property to introduce myself and see if they had any issues. They said they were very happy with the roof. I told them that I stand behind my work and if they have any questions or concerns to contact me. I noticed the front area, where the three damaged plants were, was being completely cut down. They mentioned they were removing everything and creating another look in that area.Again, I am sorry that you felt that we did not meet up to your expectations. The fact that you never mentioned any concerns or issues with the new roof I was under the impression that you were happy with the roof itself. I know it has passed the home inspection and the test of weather.I would still be happy to reimburse you for the solar light. Based on our previous conversations, I don't feel reimbursement for perennial plants, which you no longer own, were never replaced, and are in the process of being removed by the new owner, is warranted. I take pride in the fact that I am a preferred contractor for Owens Corning and believe in customer satisfaction. My credentials and insurance copies are always available for anyone who requests them. Since you hadn't mentioned it until now, I never thought to provide them when we met.Sincerely,[redacted]Home Pro Roofing?

Company states that the issues have been resolved.

Customer purchased a 2004 Dodge Stratus from Corr Concepts LLC on September 3, 2016. It was our agreement that she would make a $1500 down payment and $1000 of it was to be paid on 9/3/16 and the balance of $500 to be paid on 9/16/16. [redacted] was late paying the remaining $500 down and, as of...

9.16.16, did not fulfill her obligations of the contract. [redacted]'s first payment was due on 10/03/2016 in the amount of $192.50. Her contract states that if payment is not received in full within 10 days after it is due, she will pay a late charge of $10.  (See attached) It does NOT say that she can be 10 days late before we are allowed to exercise our right to repossess the said vehicle. In fact on page 3 of the contract (See attached) it says that a late payment does not excuse the late payment and by breaking her promise to make the payment on time, we can demand that payment be made in full. Being in default of this agreement means that a payment is not made on time, which it was not. It also states that we may take the vehicle (repossess.) [redacted] also signed a repossession agreement (See attached) That states if she fails to make any payment or any part of the payment due, we are given permission to repossess the vehicle ad failure to make any payment on time according to the loan contract, will be notice that we have the right to take back the vehicle.
Her down payment was late; her first payment was never received. [redacted] contacted us and spoke with Leah. Leah told myself and our office manager that the payment would be made on the 15th. making her payment 12 days late. [redacted] on numerous occasions changed the date that she said she would pay. It was never communicated to myself, Nicholas C[redacted] (owner) or Kristi (Office Manager) that a payment would be made on the 20th. and after several times of not making her payment, we exercised our right to repossess. We repossessed the vehicle on the 18th of October, 2016 and a letter was sent to [redacted] giving her the option to pay for the vehicle in full to avoid repossession. We gave the customer until Nov 10th to pay the vehicle in full to avoid repossession and forfeiting her down payment. She did not.
The customer says in her complaint that she was very nice, and we were very rude. This couldn't be further from the truth. On the day the repossession occurred, she came into the office to speak with me, telling me that she was going to make the payment on the 20th and when I told her that all my notes say she was supposed to make it on the 15th, she became very disgruntle and telling me that I am calling her a liar. She was very rude to me, yelling at me, and getting into my face, so much so, that the office manager came into the lobby to tell her that she needed to leave. Her contract also says that any changes need to be done in writing.
[redacted] broke her obligation to her contract, she was late with her down payment and changed the date she said she would make her 1st payment several times. She did not make the payment in full to obtain the vehicle back. Her down payment is non-refundable.
