Terrible experience with the pickup of my items for a cross-country move Date of pickup from central Utah was Tuesday, 7/6, and until that morning they couldn't give us an arrival window of less than hoursThe driver arrived almost hours late, claimed he wasn't given the assignment until the night before, and didn't have the delivery addressThen the laborers didn't show up and the driver had to load the entire household into the truck himselfNeedless to say, the process took hours; including the lateness of the arrival, my fiance spent an entire day dealing with this messEven then the items were not securely packed--lots of stuff was just floating around the back of the truck until he could get to Salt Lake City and find laborers to help I called my contact at the office to find out what on earth was going on, and she sort of shrugged, apologized, claimed the driver had the assignment, and told me she got back the money (over and above the regular fees) the company had paid to the laborers who never showedShe could not tell me when my items would arrive, but promised to call me on Friday (7/8) to let me knowI never heard from herThe driver called me directly on Sunday night, 7/10, to let me know delivery would be After the items were delivered, I emailed the office again to voice my frustration and ask for some compensation for my experienceThey offered me a whole $off my $7,billThat's 5%I said that was ridiculously low and said I didn't think I should pay anything at all for the pickup part which would be $off Today I got a call from someone else at the officeShe heard my story and did a lot of those non-apologies (I'm sorry you're frustrated, I'm sorry you feel that way)She refused to offer more than $because she "didn't think anything she offered would make me happy." Such a low offer of compensation doesn't even match the money they "saved" by getting a refund from the no-show laborersSuch a low offer, and the failure to even consider a higher offer, shows just how little they care about the experiences of their customers I am currently disputing the claim on my credit card (which they charged the day of pickup--what if my things had never arrived?) I will never use Corrigan again

Today, 9/9/15, my wife and I had our second experience with Corrigan Movers This is the second time we have been amazed and very happy with the results The first move was in Jan when we sold our home in Antioch They did an awesome job packing up and loading over sq ft of heavy furniture Today they picked up another couple boxes to marry up with the first move and plan to deliver to Virginia in about a week This is not my first experience with movers as I have moved several times with my job Corrigan is extremely organized and very professional They show up on time and always have clean uniforms on Each person introduces themselves to us and they actually hold great conversations throughout the day They are very careful to make sure that the corners and home is protected by putting down runners and cardboard to keep dirt off the floor surfacesThey do a great job packing items nice and tight to ensure there is not a lot of movement in transport as that could be an issue for damages I want to thank Lindsey our contact and point person for the move as well as Glenn the driver and job supervisor The guys moving us today were, Paco, Walter, Angel, Oso, and Brian The move equipment they use is first rate and everything they said they have done I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great price with great value I thank my Corrigan Team for a job well done! I will follow up with a review for the crew in Virginia that unloads us but expect the same level of professionalism we have experienced so far! Thank you, Chris and Nancy ***

Terrible experience with the pickup of my items for a cross-country move.

Date of pickup from central Utah was Tuesday, 7/6, and until that morning they couldn't give us an arrival window of less than 2 hours. The driver arrived almost 2 hours late, claimed he wasn't given the assignment until the night before, and didn't have the delivery address. Then the laborers didn't show up and the driver had to load the entire household into the truck himself. Needless to say, the process took 10 hours; including the lateness of the arrival, my fiance spent an entire day dealing with this mess. Even then the items were not securely packed--lots of stuff was just floating around the back of the truck until he could get to Salt Lake City and find laborers to help.

I called my contact at the office to find out what on earth was going on, and she sort of shrugged, apologized, claimed the driver had the assignment, and told me she got back the money (over and above the regular fees) the company had paid to the laborers who never showed. She could not tell me when my items would arrive, but promised to call me on Friday (7/8) to let me know. I never heard from her. The driver called me directly on Sunday night, 7/10, to let me know delivery would be

After the items were delivered, I emailed the office again to voice my frustration and ask for some compensation for my experience. They offered me a whole $350 off my $7,000 bill. That's 5%. I said that was ridiculously low and said I didn't think I should pay anything at all for the pickup part which would be $2300 off.

Today I got a call from someone else at the office. She heard my story and did a lot of those non-apologies (I'm sorry you're frustrated, I'm sorry you feel that way). She refused to offer more than $350 because she "didn't think anything she offered would make me happy." Such a low offer of compensation doesn't even match the money they "saved" by getting a refund from the no-show laborers. Such a low offer, and the failure to even consider a higher offer, shows just how little they care about the experiences of their customers.

I am currently disputing the claim on my credit card (which they charged the day of pickup--what if my things had never arrived?).

I will never use Corrigan again.
