The employee who released Mrs***'s vehicle stated that when she arrived to pick up her vehicle she already had the cash in hand and never asked to pay with a credit card/ DebitWe also have a signed document where Mrs*** signed stating that she received all documents of
release on June 3rd.Mrs*** drove her car off the lot and never complained about any damage to her vehicle she has never called our office to complain about the damage she took it upon her self to go through her insurance company Geico to fix her mechanical problem she already had before her vehicle was towed that was confirmed with her insurance company who also agreed that the damage she claimed can't and will not happened during the towing process.Thank you,***

I am rejecting this response because:
The business owner is outright lying Unfortunately for them, I have a video of the incident, which I've attached above After the incident, I also called the police department to notify them of what had occurred and provided them with the above video I repeatedly asked that I be able to pay with a credit/debit card and was denied that After being told to go get cash from the ATM from the liquor store from across the street, I did so and recorded the attendant's response that I would not be able to pay with cash because it was a weekend.My signature on those forms was ONLY to release the vehicle as I needed my car It was written on one of the pieces of paper that I still needed my tow authorizationAll I recieved was a receiptI was told that I had to sign in order to get my vehicle released When I spoke to the police department, they told me that they would investigate and take care of dealing with the business themselves, which is why I did not contact Cortez Towing Looking over some of their reviews online further assured me that I went about things in the right way.When I went to the shop to get my car fixed, contrary to what Cortez towing is saying, there was no mechanical problem with my car Instead, the place where the tow truck attached their materials was bent My insurance paid for the damage and assured me that they would try to go after the towing company

As stated previously the original reason as stated by *** stipulates the reason for towing was because it was in a fire laneWhy do you feel it is okay for you to change the reasonThis document is signed by your employee

We don't feel that its okay to change anything but at the end of the day your vehicle we was still blocking the access and this is why security authorized the vehicle to be towed!

Mrs. [redacted] was towed twice in one week for the same reason not having a parking permit displayed.There is no refund for Mrs. [redacted] she is a resident at the property and know rules and regulation.Mrs. [redacted] requested pictures and they were sent to [redacted]Thank you!
