We were contracted to move Ms*** through *** *** * ***, A fellow *** Agent*** has the interstate authority that this move was contracted underCorvallis Moving is just an Agent for *** *** ***
We did pickup Ms***'s things in Eugene on 1/6/and delivered
in Spokane at her new address on 1/14/16, not 1/11/as stated on her complaintThis delivery spread was agreed to with Ms*** and *** *** * ***, not Corvallis Moving & Storage per attached signed Bill of Lading
When we picked up Ms***'s things in Eugene we filled out a descriptive inventory of all items we picked up from her house and she signed these inventories upon leaving from her home on 1/6/16, If there were other inventories listing what she is claiming were consigned to us we are not aware of this inventory nor did we sign any inventory saying we agree with her assessment that those are the items consigned to us
Upon delivery we had Ms*** check off the inventory numbers on a customer check off sheet as well as list any damage she may see while delivery occurredAll the inventory numbers from our inventories we took on 1/6/checked off of the customer check off sheet which tells us that all items consigned to us were delivered back to herShe did list that some of the boxes from her list did not check off which we have no proof that those items were consigned to usWe did our job and we did it professionally and all paperwork was signed off when we leftIf we allowed customers to do there own inventories and we were required to just trust that what they are saying is the case we would not be in business very long
I am sorry she feels she was cheated in some way but there just isn't any paperwork or evidence backing that up, where as we do have signed paperwork backing us up*** claims department must have felt the same way as they are the ones who handled the claim
Thanks,
Scott W***

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].I accept the business' response to resolve this complaint with the following clarifications:1. I have never personally met Mr.Scott though I talked with him on phone multiple times before our belongings were loaded from Salem Oregon on June 25th '15 and from 24th July on wards.2. From 24th July '15, I talked with Mr.Scott on a daily basis: What I found unacceptable was that Mr. Scott has never called me, I was the one calling him on a daily basis (sometimes twice a day) with hopes of getting some up dates on the status of our stuff. In fact, after some days of my persistence, he provided  me with the [redacted] Van telephone number without giving me the registration number of the shipment. It has to be noted that Mr.Scott was supposed to be our mediation with [redacted] and any transportation arrangements were between him and [redacted].3. It was to our understanding that since we were going to be at the delivery address in Michigan from 24th July on wards, and our stuff having been loaded on June 25th, that Mr.Scott would, at the very least have our belongings loaded for transportation one week prior to the 24th July since he knew it took 1-2 weeks for delivery to happen. The window period between July 24th - 8th August was first mentioned on phone when I contacted Mr. Scott on 24 th July upon our return in the USA.Revdex.com of Alaska, I, and on behalf of my husband [redacted] wish to express my appreciation for your assistance and timely communication regarding this matter.Sincerely, [redacted] MD

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
On multiple occasions, my mom and I caught the movers trying to take boxes out of the apartment that had not been tagged. We had to point that out to them.  It is absolutely possible that boxes left without being tagged. Therefore, those goods would not be on their inventory.  That is their error, not mine. Upon delivery, the guys were clearly confused and yelling out my numbers on the boxes that correspond to my inventory and not the numbers on their tags.   Once again, I had to point this out to them.  They also attempted to deliver 3 or 4 gold grandfather clock weights that were not tagged.  I own nothing that looks like a grandfather clock.  In response to Mr W[redacted]'s statement "We did our job and we did it professionally", I strongly disagree.
Mr W[redacted] stated "If we allowed customers to do there own inventories and we were required to just trust that what they are saying is the case we would not be in business very long."  If those of us being moved trusted them completely they would get away with a lot more personal property.  Every tag sticker that came into my house is attached at the end of my inventory.  If you count them, you will notice that stickers are missing.  Through process of elimination I had to figure out what was delivered and what wasn't.  My personal inventory was critical in doing that.  I signed for the goods received.  I did not sign releasing Corvallis moving from liability of the missing items.  If it was necessary that he had signed my inventory when that was pointed out to the driver, then he should have signed it.  I'm not a professional mover and don't know what their processes are.  He had several opportunities to sign my inventory.
Corvallis moving were the only people other than myself that had access to my apartment and my storage room.  They were in my storage room, unsupervised for a period of time.  They were also in possession of my goods for 9 days.  I have again attached a copy of my personal inventory.  Numbers with a stars next to them have a separate, more detailed page of their contents. The missing items were documented in the middle of a 73 page inventory.  Those goods were in my apartment or storage room when the movers arrived and nothing was left behind.  Mr W[redacted]'s crew either lost or stole those 3 boxes.  If they are lost or were delivered to someone else (like the clock weights they tried to deliver to me) then they need to find and return them.  If they stole them, that is a criminal act.
Nothing about his move was professional.  Mr W[redacted] owes me my personal property or the money to replace it. Sincerely,[redacted]

We can go round and round on this but we followed the rules of interstate moving. we had all paperwork required by law signed off on by Ms. [redacted]. Please see attached 1st page of inventory signed by Ms. [redacted] (there are 9 more pages also signed by her). In the bottom right hand corner she signed saying all items loaded have been delivered.
This claim was handled by [redacted] and denied by them based on the paperwork signed by Ms. [redacted]. If she has an issue I would suggest she go back to [redacted] and see if they would reopen the claim and see if they missed anything.
It does bother me her statement about we would get away with taking more items. If she would check with [redacted] she will find out that nearly every move is delivered without any missing items or damage for that matter. in my opinion That was somewhat of a slanderous statement.
Again, she should go back to [redacted] but I feel she will have the same outcome.

Re:[redacted] ID #[redacted] I did an in house estimate for the complainant on 5/29/15 and met with Mr. [redacted]. I have never met with Ms.[redacted].During the walk through he said they were leaving the country and needed there things picked up on 6/25/15 but could not receive them in Michigan...

till the earliest of 7/24/15. I told him that there would be a 1 to 2 week window of when it would be delivered with 7/24/15 being the first day. That would put there delivery window of 7/24 through 8/7. They needed there goods held for a month and I was willing to do that for a nominal fee as they needed to keep there costs below l0K as that was there moving allowance. We agreed to store it here as it would be very expensive to store in Michigan as I was giving them a very good rate on holding it here. I registered this shipment with [redacted] for the agreed delivery dates of 7/24 through 8/7. [redacted] picked up shipment from me on 7/24.At this point it is an Interstate shipment being handled by [redacted]. I talked with Ms.[redacted] everyday from the 24'h on about her delivery, At that time [redacted] could not give me a definite delivery date. I advised her that her best bet would be to call [redacted] Customer Service direct as it would be a quicker route to get her questions answered instead of going through me as that is who I was having to call and then call her back. Once the shipment leaves me it is an [redacted] shipment and they are in control of dispatching and when it arrives. That is why I recommended she work directly with them. I do not believe we have done anything wrong in handling this order. I was very honest with her husband about the delivery schedule and maybe there was a communication breakdown and he misunderstood what I was saying. These are very nice folks and I feel bad that they feel this way. I have gone back and reworked there charges and have taken out of the final bill all of my local charges which will save her about $1,000.00 on my end. I hope this helps with some of her expenses.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:I find it curious that Mr W[redacted] has never mentioned anything about an attempt to try and find my missing boxes.  He has stated that his driver documented, on their paperwork, at the time of delivery, that 3 boxes were missing. I would expect some sort of follow-up communication in regards to that.  I have proof in my inventory that the boxes and items existed.  I have proof from the apartment complex that the apartment and storage unit were left vacant on January 6, 2016.  Mr W[redacted] has stated that his company was in possession of my goods from January 6, 2015 through January 14, 2016.  Box 25, 26 and 82 are still missing.  I have a bike with no lock or helmet, skies and snowboard with no helmet, goggles or lock, hiking poles with no boots, shoes with no rack to store them on, and random parts to ceiling fans but not a complete fan.  Therefor, boxes 25, 26 and 82 left the apartment and never arrived at the home.   With the obvious lack of problem solving and customer service, I have been advised to treat this as a criminal act and report it as such.  I am very disappointed in the horrible service that I have received through this process.  This should have never had to resort to a formal complaint with the Revdex.com or any further action I take.  Sincerely,[redacted]
