As per my telephone message we have heard back from the manufacture of the components in your dispute #*** They told us the products were not damaged or defective and they will be issuing us full credit for the returnWe will be able to refund *** *** for the parts he returned to usEven though they said there was nothing wrong with the parts we will also be returning his original shipping costsThe total for the refund will be $and it should be done on Wednesday the 13th of August
Electrical components like this need to be checked to make sure the customers have not damaged anythingI know *** *** feels differently but the situation needed to be done like this to make sure nothing was damaged and that takes timeWe’ve been in business far too long to try and beat someone out of $At the same time we don’t want to lose money by just issuing refunds based solely on what the customers say about a defective product

I am rejecting this because the 299.99 [redacted] Distributor is working fine SO there is nothing wrong with my Car.  Also when I talked to the [redacted] person they said to return it to Corvette America that all there products were under warrenty and I would be okay.  Also Matt V[redacted] told me he would refund my credit card onec he received the Hardware.  Which he did get it on July 10th.  [redacted] the Distributor is bad or good should'd matter to me.  I put the entire Engine together and it runs fine.  I tried to do what the [redacted] guys wanted me to do but I am not an Electrical Engineer or Tech like them and I did not know how to do these things.  Again the other distributor that I bought at Corvette America is working fine.  I did not know when I bought the [redacted] that I had to have special knowledge to install.
I also have other expensizes because of this [redacted] failure so I do expect Corvette America to pay my the 528.62 at least.  Also the Corvette Club down here is wanting to know how this goes.  Corvette America could lose future business over this.

Review: on 04/29/2014 I purchased a [redacted] Distributor and Coil from Corvette America for $528.62. When finished with the Engine Build I drove the car 46 miles and the Distributor/Coil Failed. I had to be towed home (22miles) and the Car would not run. I purchased another two coils from Corvette america which they credited me for them BUT finally I wanted to return the [redacted] and buy something else. Matt V[redacted] said that I could return the [redacted] for full refund. I bought an [redacted] Distributor for 299.99 from Matt V[redacted] during that same conversation. Now they do not want to return my 528.62 until [redacted] looks at the Hardware. They received the Distributor on 07/10/2014 but have not sent it to [redacted] yet. They are stalling and putting me off. I have spent 3,800 plus at Corvette America this year. I have all paperwork and a write up bthat explains all. Can I mail it to you??? I installed the [redacted] Distributor and the Cars Runs Fine- Daily Driver now.Desired Settlement: I want my 528.62 like I was promised. Thank you [redacted]
