On 7-01-2015 [redacted] entered into a contract for rental on a sofa,love seat tables and refrigerator,she was informed and agreed...

to through the contract signatures that there would be a 4 month minimum on rented merchandise.On 7-28-2015 she requested that the items be picked up due to her moving.Upon arrival to pick up the merchandise she requested to keep the tables and the refrigerator,as she was not moving at this time.she was allowed to keep those items and we picked up the sofa and love seat per her request.On 7-31-2015 she came into store and made her monthly payment which had been reduced due to partial return,she made no statements verbal or implied f her benn unhappy with a refrigerator or tables,she was asked if she had intentions on moving she stated not at this time.On 8-3-2015 she called and requested that her merchandise be picked up as she was moving out of state,we set up an appointment to pick up merchandise,about 10 minutes later she called and asked about a refund,she was informed and reminded that there was a 4 month minimum that we were unable to give her a monetary refund,however she would retain a in store credit,she then verbally abused my employee with explicitives as well as threaten him.A manager from another location tried to call her and she did the same to him.As of todays date 8/15/2015 we still have been unable to pick up our merchandise,we contacted her lanlord and was informed that she still resides in the home and in fact has not moved out,let alone out of state.We offer every customer the same options of retaing all credits paid on any item returned,we do not offer monetary refunds on rental contracts,unless the merchandise is Not Delivered due to cancellation

The couch had broken springs which the manager fixed after I returned it. The refrigerated leaked water. Was not satisfied

In store credit has been issued,The couch was not defective nor did it have broken springs.Refrigerator was froze up due to setting being turned all the way up,unit fully functional.Customer was offered an exchange but informed us that she was moving out of state and no longer needed merchandise.Customer did not return property until 8/18/2015.We do not issue monetary refunds per contract,there is a 4 month minimum which customer did not meet,however she has been given the option to retain all monies paid on merchandise and receive something different,again she was offered this and informed us she was moving out of state.Numerous attempts were made since 8/3/2015 to pick up property,as well as many phone calls made,to which all were ignored.On 8/18/15 customer called and requested property be picked up,it was done that very same day.Upon pick up customer was informed again that she could keep all credits and receive something different.No mention of issues with the refrigerator were made until 8/18/15.We at Payless Rentals & Sales value each and every customer.We strive for perfection on Customer Service.We have done all possible to correct this issue to no avail.Customer has the option of keeping credits,but chooses not too.

Payless did not offer any MONIES. They fixed the broken spring in the couch after they came picked it up. Didn't fix it while I had it. The refrigerator was turned all the way up because it would not keep nothing cold on a lower setting. Again was not offered no compensation back&probably won't. I'm disabled&live on disability. Guess they win.
