Busines is not being honestThey suggested the tune upprepairs after the manifold was already installed, and everything was out back togetherCory told me he should have suggested a tune up before he started working on itWe had a standard conversation About what he should have said, but I never once gave the okay to do the work, which was needed due to their negligenceI never once told them to take the new parts outHe said they would leave them inWe happened to show up early to the shop and he was taking them out and putting the old ones back inObviously they are not an honest company if they are lying statiing they suggested the tune up during the jobMoney was paid in full, I had my receipt , and the car was put back togetherThe only time the motor was taken back apart was when I told them it was not running how it originally was when I brought it in laint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely, [redacted]

Business is being dishonest about telling me they were taking the parts outBusiness caused my vehicle not to run correctly, then tried to charge me for the parts to fix their mistakeParts cost should have been taken out of the original money paid, to make things rightEspecially when I have a voicemail stating the car is running perfectly againThen was told " you can enjoy the free parts, but you won't be welcome back"My truck ran perfectly before business worked on itBusiness is trying to charge me for parts to fix an issue they caused, and never warned me about the possibility ofThen they purposely took the new parts out, again with out my permission, causing the same problem they caused to begin withComplaint:***I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely,*** ***

Customer states he was being charged for the repair but I was only asking for the cost of the new parts, truly my cost, not an inflated shop mark up cost I had explained to the customer that I should have suggested a full tune up at time of original repair due to possible damage to the spark
plugs and coils caused by the leaking intake manifold I explained how removing the old coils (which is a part of the job) can cause a bad connection between the plug and coil, he told me he understood several times During the phone conversation I asked him if he wanted me to put the old parts back on he said yes due to the cost I informed him that it wouldn't be done until the next day, as it was after 3pm and it takes a few hours to do He made it clear that was unacceptable and I did say enjoy your free parts but then immediately said "no it will be ready at 5" Customer states he came down early and he did I showed him the old parts that we were putting back in which were laid out to show him regardless of the dispute, as is common practice, they were not discarded or mistreated as customer statesCustomers have a right to see and take any old parts removed from there vehicle Customers states "Cory even admitted his mechanic broke a part"That is correct and it was replaced as he stated early in the complaint, free of charge Customer is asking for a refund of moneys he never paid Original purchase was to replace intake manifold He did not purchase the parts He is correct I did not receive authorization to purchase the new parts on his behalf I had assumed that it would be appreciated as I knew he was planning a road trip with his band and I also knew he worked nights and was unavailable in the mornings for authorization I made a judgment call to install the new parts and although it fixed it, it wasn't the right call so I uninstalled the new parts, reinstalled his original parts, and didn't charge him

Customer: "Busines is not being honestThey suggested the tune upprepairs after the manifold was already installed, and everything was out back togetherCory told me he should have suggested a tune up before he started working on itWe had a standard conversation About what he should have said" Response: I clearly stated in my original response that I should have suggested the tune up prior to the manifold repairWhere is my dishonesty? Customer: "I never once gave the okay to do the work" Response: I admitted this in my original response Again where is my dishonesty? Customer believes the parts were damaged due to my negligence I do not agree I explained why to the customer several times and he claimed he understood several times Customer: "I never once told them to take the new parts out" Response: Why then would I say the vehicle would not be ready until the following day? The vehicle had the new parts installed and was running greatI would have absolutely no reason to hold the vehicle other wise Customer: "He said they would leave them in" Response: I stated that I had said that in my original response"I did say enjoy your free parts but then immediately said "no it will be ready at 5"
Customer is asking for things he did not pay for There will be no refund
