Review: On a saturday in January my tenant call called [redacted] plumbing to unclog a toilet. They came were unable to unclog it so they

removed it took it to the basement and broke it claiming that they were unable to remove the snake, leaving the apartment without

a toilet. They came back on Monday afternoon to install the new toilet.

They then billed me for $841.78.

This is an unconscionable way of doing business.Desired Settlement: I think that [redacted] should refund 60% of the cost. since I don't think that he had to break the toilet and leave the apartment

without the use of the toilet for two days.

I have a copy of this invoice on file & we had previously discussed this invoice over the phone as per your request this invoice was sent over to your Management company after we had sent the same directly to you, a couple of weeks later you called our office to pay the bill as management stated that they will not pay the same, at which time you did not bring over to our attention that you were not happy with the price, etc.

The reason why the toilet bowl was not unclogged the same day as per the invoice and I quote " Responded to Saturday emergency and found toilet was clogged ran snake couldn’t clear stoppage. Had to break toilet to remove snake & found feminine sanitary napkins" We had to return on that Monday because the type of toilet bowl you had we could not find anywhere on a Saturday afternoon. (Please note that the building superintendent was with our plumber during this whole process and witnessed the abundance of Feminine napkins clogged inside the toilet bowl).

In closing it is unfortunate that you feel this way but, this matter could have been discussed & resolved over the phone when you called to pay the invoice we would have cleared any doubts and given you any breakdowns of the invoice if you would have requested the same. I would like to formally apologize for any misunderstandings but please note that feminine napkins are not to be flushed & as a result of the same being flushed the existing toilet had to be broken in order to get our snake out. All of this was stated on the invoice sent to you which you did pay for without bringing up any doubt that you would have had at the time.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused but, we feel the invoice was billed out correctly.

When I spoke to [redacted] he made it clear that the amount he charge was not negotiable.

Sanitary napkins cannot cause a snake to get so stuck making necessary to break a toilet.

There was no glue or cement...only wet napkins. I have spoken to several plumber, the never heard of such a case.

Removing the toilet was bad enough but breaking it then leaving the apartment without a toilet for two days

was unconscionable. Charging exorbitant amount was adding insult to injury.

I will never use [redacted] again!!!

I'm not surprised. His response reflects his disregard for what is right and decent.

I urge Revdex.com representatives to contact plumbers and ask them if such a repair and the fee charged are reasonable.

PS. the condominium has barred [redacted] from doing any work in the building.
