It is because we cannot guarantee work to models that we put that in writing on both of the Agreements each model or co-signer signs, with duplicate copy. It is the clients who select models, per project, not the agency. (Please see attached signed W.Agreement, line 9; and C.Agreement and A.Agreement line 1.)As for the mother's request for a refund, we have provided all services promised. The children received a professional photo shoot, including wardrobe styling, hair styling and make up provided by professionals in their fields; a two-hour seminar covering all business details and client expectations; a disk with all photos taken of their children with copyright permission letter; an international secure on-line portfolio for each child; an electronic composite card prepared for each child; and months representation to clients, which will expire in June of 2015. There are no refunds. (Please see attached signed W.Agreement, line 2.)In addition to our agency rending all services purchased, we provided the two children their services and representation for the price of one child.We greatly appreciate your understanding the nature of this industry and the facts stated above. The contract does state we are not guaranteed work, which we fully understand. However, they did verbally state that we should expect to go on one call at least every other month and that the agency gets all clients interviews but it is up to the client to solidify the actual job. We specifically asked if the agency gets work for our age group children which they replied "absolutely" . Now they are admitting that is not the case. They did produce some of the services listed, most importantly the initial photo shoot so I am willing to pay for services performed. They did not represent the children to any companies over the course of the year though so I feel they were extremely misleading in their ability to produce calls. The reply they gave states that they had no companies inquire about children their age over the course of nine months. If that is normal for this agency they should be more forthcoming with that information, and certainly not speak to something their agency can't perform. The agency gave a false picture of there interaction with the industry, the contacts they have, and work they get. If they had answered our question with " you may go an entire year without any calls and may not ever hear from us again" we would not have signed up. That is exactly what happened
