I purchased a vehical w. this business, and was told there is a warranty that would cover any vehical issues that would occur within 50,000 miles or 1 yr which ever came first, a problem arose, so I contacted a company to fix my vehical but was later told my claim was denied due to the vehical having faulty wiring due to a previous owner trying to fix the problem themselves before I purchased the vehical. I feel that twin city motors should of caught this issue before trying to sell the vehical, shouldn't vehical be looked over before selling to a customer, they had to have known that this was an issue when selling the vehical to me. Now the vehical has several different problems which include a new transmission, radiator, and cooler which all esitmate to over $4,200. I feel its unfair for me to have to pay this amount. The vehical should have lasted longer or had a better warranty coverage I put $6000 down and a little more then $2000 in payments on this vehical and to only last 6 months is very dissappointing. This is very unfair for me and my family this was my only vehical to get here and there.

On February 25, 2019 said customer purchased a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup with 132,719 miles. This was sold As-Is. No warranty from Twin City Motors. She was offered and opted to purchase a Service Contract from a 3rd party. On the original bill of sale, she did sign off on 2 different spots that the vehicle was being purchased As-Is.
When the vehicle was sold to the customer, she was able to test drive and make sure it was in good mechanical order before completing the purchase. There were no known issues at the time of sale. Unfortunately, it is a 9-year-old vehicle and sometimes things break on them. We were not aware of any wiring or mechanical issues at the time of sale or we would have repaired the issues and not sold the vehicle, or we would have disclosed the issue.
We were not made aware of any issues until communication on or around October 22, 2019 as she filled out an online application and applied for a new loan on a new vehicle listing her 2010 Chevrolet Silverado as a Trade-In.
We did offer to see if we would be able to get the vehicle repaired at a lower cost to her instead of her paying full retail cost at a full-service shop. There has been no response or communication since then.
We have been in business since 1978 and we want nothing more than to have our customers happy so that they return to purchase another vehicle.
