I am rejecting this response because:Rear pinion seal was leaking the first day I saw the truckI mentioned it to them that dayThey said they were going to fix it. I went back a week later to look at the truck and it was cleanFrom test driving it around, it started leaking again. The bill to get the lights and the rear pinnion fixed was $ I have previously sent that invoice. The shop it got taken to was: *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** Their phone number is *** if you have any questions on what they found or what the did. The technicians name was ***. I would like to be reimbursed for the billYou will have me out of your hair after this bill has been reimbursed to me.*** ***

We apologize that Mr*** feels like this is not a good vehicleThis truck has been inspected multiple times before and after the sale to Mr***The last two inspections were by two separate repair facilities after the sale of the vehicleThe first being *** *** *** in Loomis CA by a
diesel master technicianAnd the second being *** *** in Roseville CA, a franchise *** *** facilityBoth of which found no issues to the concerns that Mr*** is bringing upWe also gave Mr*** the contact information to both of these facilities so he could have have the opportunity to follow up any of his concerns with these expertsWe have done everything to try and accommodate and appease Mr*** up to this point including twice picking the truck up from his out of town residence to have re-inspections done and delivering back to himHis request now is for us to buy the vehicle back in it's entirety and cover the cost of sales tax and registration feesAll of which we are not willing to doPrior to the sale Mr*** had the opportunity to test drive this vehicle alone multiple timesMr *** turned down an offer of an extended warranty for additional costThis vehicle was sold "As-Is" and we have gone beyond that to try and address his concernsThis truck is over years old with 253,plus miles on itMr***'s complaint is that this truck does not match up to one he previously owned and I am sorry to hear that, but no two vehicles are exactly alikeAnd that does not make this truck a bad vehicleReceipts of inspections of this vehicle after the sale were given to Mr*** including a receipt signed by him categorizing his concerns and their resultsHis claims that he was offered to return the truck at any point or his claim that we were not responsive to his calls are false

Here are the requested documents.  The receipt for the injectors and labor.  Receipt for glow plug diagnostic, safety inspection, and brake cable adjustment. Smog Certificate. Work order for concerns after sale along with fuel inspection from [redacted].  As-Is and Buyers Guide paperwork.  Spoke with [redacted] the service writer at [redacted] this morning.  He confirmed that he did speak with the customer and offered to to test drive and walk around the truck to address any concerns but customer never showed up to do this.

I am rejecting this response because: I took the truck to a shop [redacted]- on my own time. I told them my concern and they did a further investigation of the truck.  I am attaching a copy of their inspection.  The technicians name was Greg.  According to the tech the vehicle seems to have been dismantled at one time and poorly put back together and the grounds were left off. He found several things not working properly.  Per the technician, he feels the vehicle is unsafe due to the fact the lights are not functioning. The estimated fee to repair all he found is $961.14.Per Cost Less Auto, their Master Mechanic looked over the truck.  When I met with him, [redacted], he told me they didn't tell him to do anything with the truck besides change the fuel filter- but none of the other things they said they would fix.  I kept bringing the truck back to them for them to fix, but it was never taken care of.  They said they did 2 oil changes, but they didn't do any of them. I did it myself.  I was also told they did the injectors. I requested a receipt. They said they would give me one, but to date, I haven't received it. I called [redacted] to ask if it was done. He said he put some in, but doesn't remember if they were remanufactured or new since the parts were brought in to him.

Very easy experience. Had many nice cars. The sales people were friendly and genuine. I submitted a credit application online through their website and they got me approved on the car I wanted before I came in. Once there I dealt with the sales person Bobby and he had his dog Daisy there with him that day. She was so sweet. I test drove the car and had no pressure. He gave me plenty of time to check out the car without standing over my shoulder like I experienced at other places. The car was everything that was advertised and since I had already been prefinanced, I was in and out in 30 mins excluding the time I used to check out the car. Nice to shop at a local place and know you are dealing with a good business. I definitely recommend.

Review: On Saturday April 19, 2014 at approx. 4:30 PM the following occurred. My husband (who is disabled) and I went into Mr. [redacted], office (Mr. [redacted] is the dealer that sold us the Buick)and told him that after reading the contract we felt he made us pay $495.00 extra for Gap Insurance that we did not need for the Buick and wanted a refund. Mr. [redacted], became outraged/hostile and shouted at us" fk no you signed the contract and that's the fk in way it is. I don't fk in believe you, you must have a low IQ" My husband and I looked at each other in shock and could not believe this type of language and insults was coming from a business man. The men in the office ( Mr. [redacted], co-workers)even came out of their offices when they heard Mr. [redacted], shouting at us, I was also afraid Mr. [redacted], was going to his 2 dogs attack us. My husband told me "lets get out of here" and we were able to leave Mr. [redacted], office without further incident. I feel Mr. [redacted], owes us a written apology for his violent actions and $495.00 for the Gap Insurance, because he either lied or made a mistake telling us we had to buy Gap Insurance in order to get the car loan. We already have auto insurance and don't need to spend an extra $495.00 for nothing. Please see attached auto contract.Desired Settlement: Mr. [redacted], should refund the $495.00 for Gap Insurance.

Response:

This dispute is difficult to respond to because the customers claims are completely false. The last conversation from any employee or associate of Cost Less Auto to [redacted] or [redacted]i was on Friday April 18th. On this date the [redacted] came to the dealership with mis-information that they could return, cancel the contract, and receive a full refund over 3 weeks after purchasing the vehicle. We had explained to them that the vehicle was financed with a bank and all paperwork had been submitted. The customers response was that the bank had told them they could cancel the contract. This information is false and we called the bank on speakerphone on behalf of the customer so they could have the correct information. The bank informed us and the customer that there is no way to cancel a contract. If they would like, they could trade in the vehicle for something else or sell the vehicle on their own and pay the loan off.

The customers then left saying they would think about selling the car or keeping it. There were no violent outbursts or attack dogs. We are a pet friendly business and dogs are welcome here, but at no point were there dogs threatening customers. Our facility is under constant video recording surveillance showing that the threatening story told to be what it is, completely false. Also at no point was there a discussion about cancelling a GAP policy. After I received this Revdex.com claim, I phoned the [redacted]is and asked why would they submit an untrue story online and do they really want to cancel their GAP policy. The GAP policy is through their financial institution and I instructed them of who to call if they wanted to cancel the policy. Turns out, they never cancelled the GAP policy. I care a great deal about our reputation and we have a solid customer base that is happy to shop with us again and again. However I can not resolve claims that are false.
