Review: My bank account was charged without my authorization. When I called Cost U Less collection department to get information on the the transaction, the Agent incharged of my account could not explain why it was charged so she lied and said that I had given consent. As I affirmed her that it was her mistake she began raising her voice and said there was nothing she can do. I asked to speak to her supervisor. The supervisor was even worse she had attitude she talked over me. When I asked her to let me speak she said "not today" astonished I asked again for her to listen to me and she said NO. I asked for her supervisor name and contact and she said to call back another time. I had to ask her 3-4 times for the name but said I couldn't contact him. I asked for her complete name and she denied her last name. I have never been treated so unprofessional. I'm trying my best to pay my balance.Desired Settlement: I want my bank card removed from thier system. I want the supervisor to have consequences for her behavior. I want a letter from them as confirmation of what my balance is as of today.

Regarding the customer’s concern, the customer was unable to pay the down payment in full . As a gesture of good faith, Cost U Less Insurance Center, Inc. offered the customer to pay a partial payment. The customer agreed and authorized that the outstanding balance be charged to her credit card on July 9, 2014 or until paid. Unfortunately, the attempt done on July 9 declined. Our system automatically continued to make attempts to draft the account and was able to charge some of the balance. We take great pride in assuring that all customers are treated with respect and excellent service and apologize for any inconvenience. Our Supervisor has spoken to the customer and reached a payment arrangement. The customer has agreed with the solution.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: In February, I went in to change coverage for my auto insurance. When we began proceedings for this, the insurance I had was to be terminated, and at the time I asked the person attending me if they would take care of this issue, and I was told then that as of that date I would no longer have the old insurance of [redacted], and would have new coverage with the new insurance, I asked him if all closings would be done with this phone call, and he assured me that it would be. So I went ahead and had the papers drawn, I then proceeded to make payments for new insurance, which over the phone I was quoted one price the day before and during my visit I was told an entirely different price, but I wanted to get my 2 grown children included into the policy so I did not question. And I thought that would conclude our business. As of 6/12/2014 I received a letter from [redacted] that I had cancelled my policy and I owed them money for the remaining time. I called Cost U Less Ins. And I explained the situation, at which time I was told I should have been told, but wasn't that there would be a charge. I was then told that I would receive a call from the district manager on Friday the 13th, then again on the 16th, and yet told once again I would receive a call on the 17th. And yet I have not heard from the manager. I called the agency once again, and was told once again he would call you today, and I told the gentleman on the phone [redacted] that I would contact Revdex.com in regards to such bad customer service and the bad business and how they handled my situation from day1.Desired Settlement: I would like this matter to be paid for or taken care of by Cost U Less, as one of their employees was supposed to handle the situation. The person who handled my insurance issues in February assured me all the insurance information and situation would be taken care of by them (Cost U Less) with a call, and at the time I was not told that there would be a remaining balance. If I were told I would have taken care of it. I expect since I paid brokers fee with no problem, for them to do the same.

In reference to the customer's concern, once our Producer is able to confirm the rating factors he/she is able to provide a quote based on such and presents it to the customer. The customer in agreement signed and purchased the policy; [redacted] processed the customer's cancellation request and applied the cancellation fee. Cost U Less Insurance Center, strives to ensure that all customer's are provided with exceptional service and apologize for any incovenience. As a gesture of good faith, we paid the outstanding balance to [redacted]. The customer has agreed with the solution.

I in fact have contacted [redacted]; and they did tell me that Cost U Less, has paid the amount due. I contacted Cost U Less Manager and let him know that a payment was due and was grateful for their cooperation. I am very satisfied with this resolution.

Review: Purchased insurance through cost u less. Was never told of a broker fee. Was told I needed to pay a down payment since it was a new policy and the payment would go towards the first four months.Never was a broker fee disclosed. They were really rushing us and when we stated that we wanted to wait the girl clicked on the keyboard and was mad and said there now you have insurance. So then the original person that started the claim rushed us through signing keeping his hand on every page and saying just sign here and there.Also they have on the paperwork for the vehicle that it's a valid registration even though my sons name is now where on the registration. We were mislead and deceived and I want the $412.00 back that they refused to return.Desired Settlement: Would like my policy canceled and money that was told was for a down payment for the first 4 months with no mention at anytime that there was a broker fee or that any part if that down payment was for a broker fee and not for premium payments as told it would be.

As part of our company policy and procedures our agents disclose the down payment including our fees both verbally and in writing. Regarding the customer, we have a signed Broker Agreement by the insured acknowledging the disclosure and agreement of the fee. We have spoken to the customer and as a courtesy offered a refund for half of the broker fee and he agreed with the solution.

Review: Hi I was unaware of the over night charge that this company made without my consent. The manager [redacted] mis lead me into thinking that he was only photo copying my debit card and that no transactions would be used on this card. He also was on the phone with another customer bad mouthing me to her. Felt really disrespectedDesired Settlement: Would like a refund. I am a person with limited income I am currently over drawn and am trying to keep my bank account open.

The customer purchased a policy with a partial down payment and signed an authorization allowing Cost U Less Insurance Center, Inc to charge the remaining balance to her credit card on March 1, 2014 or until paid. We take great pride in assuring that all our customers are given upmost service and apologize for any inconvenience caused. We have made many attempts to speak to the customer to no avail and welcome the customer to contact [redacted] at ([redacted] for further assistance.

Review: cost u less insurance agents falsely told me my insurance policy rules changed and had me restart a new policy and make me pay a new brokers fee I put a down payment to start things after two weeks the rest of the down payment was due so I asked once again if I could re wright my old policy wich I believed it could be within 90 days according to information on my policy bill and they said yes I could so I asked y they told me that their rules changed to 30 days the first time I came in so I asked for a manager and he was out for the day so the person helping me called him and told him what was going on also telling him that the contact number on the bill did not work he asked to put things on hold till he can come bak to the office the next buisness day so I took matters into my own hands and contacted the insurance by finding their number on the internet I fixed my issue myself after notifying the cost u less agents of my problem with things and why did they tell me otherwise bout the policy rules the agent name of daniel said he would look into things to help me I requested a refund for the partial down payment due to the miss information from them and the fact that they couldnt help me he tried making excises and saying I would have to pay the insurance that any ways but I told him that no I didnt and I had already fixed the issue my self and I only payed my monthly rate fee he said he needed to check and see if this was true so he can help me out I told him that my payment to the insureance had nothing to do with his broker fee why would he have to do that I didnt understand why he had to do that he said he needed to see if I was telling the truth I told him ok but I dont understand why you would need to do that eubut call me bak since then he has been avoiding my calls I call daily atleast twice and leave messages and I have not yet heard bak fom him this is rediculous and I feel scammed plus half of the other agents have no idea what they are doingDesired Settlement: I would like my refund for the down payment for the broker fee they did not do their job and fix my initial problem in which the broker fee is for they did not fullfill their service and also gave me wrong information on purpose I fixed things on my own this has not been the first time they made me make a new policy and make me pay them for something that could have been fixed and I have also heard many y other stories about them being faudulent so I think they need to be investigated as well
