We are in receipt of the complaint that was filed by Mr [redacted] regarding the issue he had with our signage and would like to take this opportunity to respondIt was never our intention to upset the customer but we felt that it was clearly a mistake that the customer having read the sign should have known that it was obviously the wrong sign above the product just by reading the descriptionUnfortunately we cannot control our customers from moving our signs around and if we were to honor such mistakes such as this, we clearly would not be in business.We stand behind our decision not to honor the price that they had wanted because the product they wanted at the cheaper price was no way compatible to the product the sign referred toThe descriptionof each product was quite clearThe sign for the item they wanted reads: Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter packs- oz each for $15.99, whereas the sign above the item was: Peter Pan Creamy Peanut Butter oz for $ If the product was similar we could then justify giving them the cheaper price.We appreciate your time in allowing us to address this complaintShould you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to call our office at ( [redacted] )

Review: Me and my wife went to the store to buy peanut butter we saw a brand that had a price sign of $4.98 or $5.98 for a pack of 2 bottles of peanut butterand another sign that had 14.98 or 15.98 for 2 bottles so we choose to save and took the cheaper ones. We go to the register and the clerk rang it up for the higher price, went and returned with to price signs of the 2 prices we saw. He said the one we took was not cheap ones and we told him then we wanted the other bottles, he said he will go get then and I followed him and her put the signs up in different places then they where when we looked at the signage. I told him that he switched the signs and he said the wording tells which is which, I told him we did not look at the wording just the price and he said there is nothing he can do I will have to talk to the manager. So I did and the manager told me I can not get the price that the item showed because the signs were in the wrong place. I told him I looked and seen the low price and he said there is nothing he can do I cannot get the cheaper price because someone moved the signage. If he would have checked the security video it most likely would have shown a clerk put the signage in the wrong place, he made it sound like he was blaming me for moving the signs. Every store I have shopped in has always given the price displayed and then changed the signage. I truly feel that this Cost U Less ripped me off, I should have gotten the cheaper price. I believe this store is ripping customers off when it is the store employees mistake.Desired Settlement: I should be given the peanut butter I chose for the price that was shown, it was not my mistake.
