Our firm strives to assist all clients with any issues that may arise during the course of their case.  In the event the client chooses to terminate his services with our firm, a standard procedure is followed.  The client must submit a written...

cancellation letter to the law firm.  The client is then contacted, stating the case has been closed and any unused attorney fees are refunded.  
 
In this case the client has chose to terminate his services in the midst of the preparation of his case.  As such, we will proceed to close this matter and refund any unused portion of this attorneys.  This is the exact protocol called for in the contract singed by the client and is within all protocol called for by all agencies.  
 
We look forward to resolving any disputes in a just matter.

Review: [redacted] had help me with my bankruptcy and I was providing payments for his services which was a total sum of $4000 dollars. This was during the months of August 2013 he relocated his office (from Downey to San Diego) without a notice to me! just after I completed my last payment! After I was able to make contact with him he wanted me to drive to San Diego, mind you this is over 3 hours away from me!!! I have followed up with the California Bar and I will not stop until my money has been fully returned or my case has been successfully closed. This is utterly disgusting no one should be treated like this!! ever!!!

No contact or attempts have been made to contact me since!!Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded.

Review: After having paid $500 the total amount for the services requested for filing for bankruptcy on April 1, 2013 they failed to contact me for next steps in filing for bankruptcy I called and left multiple messages of which I never received a response. When I was finally contacted one month later and went in to continue the process I was told that I would have to pay an additional $306 that was not mentioned upon the initial agreement. The people there were not helpful and were unable to explain the agreements they had me sign. I then decided that I was not going to continue with their services and requested to get my money back and was told that it would take 30 days before I could get a refund. First of all no services were provided and none of the documents/paperwork was properly documented therefor I should not have to wait for my refund.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back as soon as possible. I don't feel that I should have to wait for it.

Client failed to pay the filing fee so that the court could process her paperwork. Unfortunately, the court will not accept a case until they are paid $306. The client failed to pay, thus the case was not filed, simple as that. This is all clearly labeled in the contracts clients sign.
