Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I am completely aware of the Texas
law on refunds but this is a special situation that can be resolved at
managements discretion and exceptions can be made. My significant other
and I were able to work with the representative ***) on getting the move in
date and the lease arrangements and he said he would "check with
management" and insisted we apply to hold the apartment. We actually held off applying for over a week for him to get back with us but he insisted again we apply. It was only
after we had signed and paid deposit/app fees that Indian Hollow informed us that I could
not be listed as an occupant and must be on the lease financially responsible. Instead of giving us a DEFINITE
yes or no answer, he gave us a sense that this could have been changed
(as the move in date was changed after speaking with management). We
can't afford to lose money like that, it would be greatly appreciated to
get the "Hold deposit" back because we were misled on the apartment
leasing terms. If this was clarified prior to both of us, we would have not applied or paid the fees
Regards,
