Review: This complaint is for my 72 year old mother who is a [redacted]. A few months ago she received a blood sugar meter that she did not order. My sister called the company to request a prepaid label so my mother could return it to them. She was told to just tape it up and put it in the mail which is unacceptable as I am a Postmaster and it would require new postage to mail. The customer service rep refused to send a label and my mother told them she did not order it and would not pay to send it back. Then my mother received a bill and when she called them she was told she could throw the meter away, kick it out in the yard, or whatever she wanted but she was still going to be billed for it. I then called myself and left multiple messages for them to call me and never received a call back. I think this company is trying to bully seniors into paying for products they do not order. My mother's name is [redacted] and the account number with Cottage Pharmacy is [redacted]. The bill is for 40.42.Desired Settlement: In order to remedy this problem I am requesting a prepaid label be sent for my mother to return the meter to the company since she did not order it.

Review: My 79 year old mother received a box of diabetes supplies she never ordered. When they arrived, she called to tell them that she had never placed an order with them and was told that they wanted her to know that this is the way things were going to change due to [redacted]. Forward two more weeks and we go to our local pharmacy to pick up her diabetic supplies only to find out her medicare and insurance would not cover them due to this package of products from this pharmacy. When I called they said she was the one who ordered them. Not sure how they are getting her info, but I find this upsetting that they are trying to take advantage of the elderly. She now has to pay full price for the supplies she needs until this is settled. Why would she ever order from a pharmacy in New York, when she lives in Wisconsin?Desired Settlement: Never contact her in any way, shape or form.
