First of all I would like to respond to the comment that I did not fill out the claim properly, I filled out all of the paperwork that I was sent immediately and sent it back to themThey never responded to me that anything was filled out incorrectly, they instead sent me a $check stating that all but a couple of my very small claims had been deniedThey also made claims in their documents that I had packed certain items that I had notYou can clearly see on the mirror, for example, that it had been wrapped in kraft paper (which I did not have) and placed in a box (which was theirs)I also have a hard time trusting anything they claim because their driver was on the phone with the owner and told me that I "Had to sign the document or I would have no re-course on claims" and that was told to him by the owner *** ***If you go on to yelp you can clearly see that this organization has pulled these types of ploys on numerous customers
If they are truly working on putting together a solution that will satisfy the damage and lost items, I will be happy to consider this matter closed, but at this point all I have is a $check and quite a few lies about me packing product and them not loosing my belongingsThey have a long way to go to make sure that I am made whole

Advanced Moving & Storage provided your estimate for your move on June 3rd 2015. While we pride ourselves on providing as accurate of an estimate as possible there are a number...

of unforeseen reasons your move could take longer to complete than estimated. Also when you scheduled your move it was explained to you by our office move coordinator you worked with in setting up your move that the actual cost of your move could vary. Enclosed please see a copy of the document "Move to take longer than the original estimate form signed by you where narrow exits, hallway, or entrances are checked. As for payment for your move, Advanced Moving & Storage charged you exactly for the time we worked. The movers refunded you back $100.00 as all the time you paid for in advanced was not used. There were no charges for any packing labor only for cartons used. Enclosed is a copy of your Bill of lading #XXXXX with the actual charges. Also as a customer courtesy and in affect to maintain good customer relations we have enclosed a one hour $125,00 refund check. In the future if you find that you are in the need of moving services we hope that you will think of Advanced Moving & Storage. We will also offer you a $100.00 credit on any future moving services.

I accept the refund of 1 hour, however the company provided an estimate for time required to complete the move that was inaccurate by more than 50%. This type of error is unacceptable, I hope that in the furture the company reevaluates their estimation process in an effort to improve accuracy. I will not use this company again, as their estimates are not reliable.

I already stated in my first explanation that Advanced Moving and Storage offered a credit of $100 towards a future move. I will not use this company ever again, therefore I am not interested in a credit of any amount. We gave Advanced Moving & Storage the chance to come later that day, as late as they wanted, or the next day, no matter what time, they declined. We did not have any other chance than to hire a different moving company and I think it is clear to everyone that finding a moving company that is able to come same day/next day, is extremely hard to find. Advanced M&S put us in a very tough position with no help at all. I am not interested in a credit towards their service.
