helps out with the press machine, everything is carefully handled by the co-owners - my parentsMy mother is the sole employee in the shop that oversees the registers and faces customers.Every time a customer drops off their garments, she sorts and counts every single item in front of the customer and hands off an itemized invoice to the customerAll of the garments are placed into a bag with a copy of the invoice inside, which are then pinned individually with tags that can withstand the washing processThey then pin the master tag onto the invoice copy and both are kept away securely till the garments are ready to be baggedAll of the sorting and tagging happens within the same day of the customer drop off.Every time a customer picks up their garments, my mother reviews the invoice copy attached to the garment bag and counts the number of garments being returned in order to ensure the numbers matchCustomers are always welcome to open the bag and/or look through their garments to review our work.We had followed the above, very meticulous process, with the clothes dropped off by Mr*** who had picked up his garments without any inquiries on Friday, March 24thYou can imagine our surprise when Mr*** returned to the shop the following Monday claiming there was a jacket missingHe insisted he had dropped off a 2-piece suit but only found the pantsMy wife assured him that we followed the usual protocol to ensure everything we had received was kept track of and returned to the customer.Mr*** then returned the following day, this time claiming he had dropped off a 3-piece suit but only found his pants and vestHe proceeded to have us run the conveyor belt through the entire inventory of the clothes in the shop in an attempt to locate the jacket in front of himWe did not find the jacket.We had learned shortly after that he had posted a very negative review on Yelp.com about our business, which was the exact replication of the complaint submitted to Revdex.comStrangely, the Yelp.com review was taken down the following weekBecause we were able to obtain his contact information through the Revdex.com notification letter, we reached out to him with the following messageWe did not get a response
