Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It appears that part of the business' response is missing I only see an edit and it is regarding the check pick up time frame Again, I'm not disputing that My dispute is with Cotton Kids not allowing me to use my earned funds as store credit They made money off of my goods and are refusing to give me my share Sincerely, [redacted]

This is in response to a letter I received on July 6, which I sent a response back on July 18, at 2:20pm The response was sent back on the Revdex.com website but it seems the customer did not get the full response so I am resending She states she only got a small part of the response in her rejection The complaint is about the consignment policy on payment for items sold so I am enclosing the copy of the policy section that the customer signed when she signed up to consign · You, the consignor, will receive 40% of the items actual sale price· Your earnings will accumulate in your account as your items sell If you have a balance of $or more after the $service fee is deducted & it is after the 23rd of the month & you do not use it as a store credit to purchase items, then you will have a check after the 5th of the next month, minus a $service fee, for your entire balance If you have less than $in your account, then your store credit will roll into next month’s business You may use your store credit at anytime towards purchases in the store· If you prefer to be a “credit only” consignor, please let us know We will always keep your credit on your account for you to use in the store towards purchases & this credit will never expire· Checks will be available for you to pick up in the store for days We do not mail checks except to out of state consignors or consignors living or more miles away Checks will void after days & will not be re-issued The customer states that she understands that checks are voided after days & will not be re-issued Since payment was already issued in the form of a check that she did not pick up, those funds are voided & will not be re-issued as a check or in the form of a store credit When the customer called the store on July 1st she admitted that she was busy with life & did not get in to pick up her check The customer states in her complaint that no where in the policy does is state that this money is forfeited once a check is cut It clearly states in the above policy that she signed that checks will void after days & will not be re-issued The customer states that she feels her good were stolen We as a store did our part by sorting, entering, tagging & putting her items out for sale As her items sold, she was actively using store credit in the store to purchase new items Since she did not use all of her credit towards purchases & her balance was over $11.00, a check for her entire balance was cut & available for her to pick up in the store on November 5, & was held for her to pick up for days The customer states that she would not have consigned with us had this policy been included in the contract The contract she signed is the same as what I have included above & can be found in full at Cottonkidsconsignment.com

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Apparently the store thinks I can't read and obviously is more concerned with being "right" than doing the right thing The policy I signed states as follows: "You may use your store credit at anytime towards purchases in the store." It also states that the check would be voided, not the store credit form of payment I did mention that I was busy (winter, very pregnant, working), but that is a moot point I read the contract thoroughly and did not pick up the check because all I wanted at the time was credit I have worked in some capacity of customer service for over twenty years and am floored by their responseThis is not how you treat customers Sincerely, [redacted]

I wanted to clarify a date I wrote on my response from 7-18-16. I believe I typed the wrong date that the customers check expired. Her check was available for pick up on November 5th 2015 & would have expired on February 5th 2016. I believe I typed January 5th 2016 by error. Sorry for the error... but here is the corrected information. Sent on: 7/19/2016 1:16:48 PM Sent by: 75.166.115.128

This is in response to a letter I received on July 6, 2016 which I sent a response back on July 18, 2016 at 2:20pm.  The response was sent back on the Revdex.com website but it seems the customer did not get the full response so I am resending.  She states she only got a small part of the response in her rejection.   The complaint is about the consignment policy on payment for items sold so I am enclosing the copy of the policy section that the customer signed when she signed up to consign.   ·  You, the consignor, will receive 40% of the items actual sale price. ·  Your earnings will accumulate in your account as your items sell.  If you have a balance of $11.00 or more after the $1 service fee is deducted & it is after the 23rd of the month & you do not use it as a store credit to purchase items, then you will have a check after the 5th of the next month, minus a $1.00 service fee, for your entire balance.  If you have less than $11.00 in your account, then your store credit will roll into next month’s business.  You may use your store credit at anytime towards purchases in the store. ·  If you prefer to be a “credit only” consignor, please let us know.  We will always keep your credit on your account for you to use in the store towards purchases & this credit will never expire. ·  Checks will be available for you to pick up in the store for 90 days.  We do not mail checks except to out of state consignors or consignors living 50 or more miles away.  Checks will void after 90 days & will not be re-issued.   The customer states that she understands that checks are voided after 90 days & will not be re-issued.  Since payment was already issued in the form of a check that she did not pick up, those funds are voided & will not be re-issued as a check or in the form of a store credit.  When the customer called the store on July 1st she admitted that she was busy with life & did not get in to pick up her check.  The customer states in her complaint that no where in the policy does is state that this money is forfeited once a check is cut.  It clearly states in the above policy that she signed that checks will void after 90 days & will not be re-issued.   The customer states that she feels her good were stolen.  We as a store did our part by sorting, entering, tagging & putting her items out for sale.  As her items sold, she was actively using store credit in the store to purchase new items.  Since she did not use all of her credit towards purchases & her balance was over $11.00, a check for her entire balance was cut & available for her to pick up in the store on November 5, 2015 & was held for her to pick up for 90 days.    The customer states that she would not have consigned with us had this policy been included in the contract.  The contract she signed is the same as what I have included above & can be found in full at Cottonkidsconsignment.com
