Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] ` The response about using saver routes is just totally a lie, we traveled along miles and miles of side by side highways , not safer divided highways, with no possibility of stopping at any business locations in case of emergency The driver actually had to stop the bus( in the middle of nowhere) because the route they took traveled up and down through steep highwaysThe reason we stopped was the brakes were severely overheating and smelling Had the bus had an emergency, the time to get to us would have been hours

Ms***, In regards to *** ** *** complaint filed with Revdex.comMr*** first statement in his complaint states "this company was intent on taking the longest route possible to add miles and time for obvious reasons, more income." This statement or assertion is completely
and ignorant as to what really transpired since Mr*** was not the person that Cougar Bus Lines engaged in this contractCharter services were secured by Mr*** *** from ***, TX and Mr*** *** from *** ***, TXMr*** is correct about the route Cougar Bus Line took, which is longer, but at the same time safer due to the fact that the route through Wichita, Kansas, Denver, CO has less mountains to pass through than the quickest route( Albuquerque, NM- Cortez, CO-Monticello, Utah) which is miles more and not the Mr*** claimsWhen commercial vehicles ( heavy duty trucks and buses) travel through mountainous regions more stress is incurred on the brakes and engine which could cause more break downs In this route, there is less roadside mechanics and it is more desolate than the route we took. Also, the quickest route is more dangerous when rain and bad weather occurWhen Cougar Bus Lines (CBL) quoted *** *** miles was quoted at a discount rate of $2.75 ($x 3700= $10, 175) regular rate of $3.25 with three over nights of $for a total of $11,675 attached is the original invoiceUnder no circumstance did CBL hide or deceive LULAC members Mr*** *** or Mr*** *** by charging more monies for more milesCBL only quoted and charge for miles traveled and to be traveled. CBLs was only trying to take the safest route with roadside assistance available for preventive reasons just in case a breakdown were to occur. Mr*** further complained regarding the smell of chemicals. The chemical CBL uses is non-formaldehyde restroom chemical authorized by the bus industry and the bus industry standardI have included a brochure from the manufacturer of the chemical we use in our restroomsAfter conferring with the bus drivers, when the bus departed Salt Lake City two persons used the restroom and obviously defecated. The passengers started to complain after this had transpired so the drivers bought bleach and Fabuloso to contain the smell. After this, the passengers complained that the smell was too strong so the driver added several gallons of water to dilute the smell---- which workedIn the bus industry, the restrooms are made for emergencies and mainly for passengers to urinate and not to defecateSince the bus has a small confined and compact restroom, we recommend that passengers try to avoid using the restroom to defecate --- only for emergencies. The bus drivers gladly stop to accommodate the passengers for periodic restroom breaks and will also stop upon requestThis advice regarding restroom use is the norm industry wide for all motor coaches ---both charter buses and luxury entertainer coaches since all restroom systems are the same Sincerely, Ricardo Rodriguez, JrCougar Bus Lines, Ltd 956-726-office 956-206-5579 cell
