Coulson Law Office, P.C. Reviews (3)

We do have two 8 1/2" x11" signs posted stating, all denials are subject to a 20% restocking fee. As stated before all the customer needs to do is appeal his State of WI denial and it will not cost him a penny.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I would rather loose the 80.00 than spend another penny at his shops, along with numerous others that agree with me on this matter. A couple previous customers also said that there were no signs about the restocking fee. They also will not be returning! The word of mouth continues. Apparently the owner of this company doesn’t realize or just doesn’t care that the $80.00 is nothing compared to the business that he has lost and will loose in the future. Only he can change my opinion of that shop & his personal management skills. There was no reason to get rude when I asked for a refund, & again, 1st. I was told that they had to get paid for their time & paperwork then I was told it was for a restocking fee, also, $80.00 is not 20%! Use one of your calculators next time, if you have to round, round down for customer benefit, not up for yours! I have called other shops, so far he is the only shop that requires the customer to purchase the gun before the background check is acceptable. Why would anybody want to take that chance, especially when it's not the cheapest gun on the shelf. 20% is a big difference when the gun costs $359.00. Charge me for the background check, I could live with that, Not 20% of $359.00 = $80.00? Do the math! That's not acceptable! People I talk to all say they wouldn't take the chance when you can get denied over a divorce. We'll buy our stuff at a respectful shop. Put thought into it, Why pay for a gun with the chance of a 20% fee, when most other shops you wouldn't be taking that chance.  Customer Lost!.   Thank you
Regards,
Rick [redacted]

We have a company policy stating any denial of a back round check is subject to a 20% restocking fee. He can appeal the denial with the state and if they approve the denial he can pick up the gun. It is against federal law to run the back round check before a gun is picked out and ready for...

purchase. The customer entered into a contract to purchase this gun, by not answering  the questions on the form truthfully he was unable to fulfill  the contract and purchase the gun.
