A member of their staff was trying to give a courtesy copy of legal documents to an attorney that previously occupied the office space that my law firm is currently occupying.
I told the server that the attorney is not at this address. She left briefly, returned and threw the document through my window. She refused to take it back even though I told her that I cannot accept legal service for an attorney that does not work at my firm. She accused me of lying, sayin "you know [redacted] well that attorney is in there", She called me a derogatory name that rhymes with "maggot" and threw the document back towards me.
In speaking with management, I was told that they are going to write up the incident. They will not advise me as to any previous complaints, nor will they take any stern action towards an employee who is clearly violent and rude. This behavior is unacceptable and I am surprised that this company would allow someone to continue representing their service.
