Through the spring, summer and fall of 2015, we did a major renovation to the main floor of our home. The centrepiece of the renovations to the kitchen and dining room was the installation of custom designed and built cabinets throughout. From conception to installation the service from Countertop Expressions was first class. We revised the design details many times as the renovation of our home proceeded, and nothing was too much trouble for Carol, who must have dreaded seeing our phone number show up on her phone, or our car drive up to the store. The quality of the construction of the cabinets is absolutely top-notch. Most of the cabinets were custom sizes but everything fitted to a tee. There were some issues with cabinet doors, which are not built by the company but are acquired from a third party. Throughout that process, Countertop Expressions were firmly on the customers (our) side. I was going to give them a 4-star rating because of the inconvenience with the doors, but reflecting on the way they supported us through to resolution has changed my mind. I can also tell you that they have changed suppliers, and another project that we did subsequently in 2016 was faultless.
We were delighted with the results of the 2015 project and as we settled into normal life after the project we realised that our house had been transformed. So, seeing the possibilities, we decided that we would make a major renovation to our basement, with new cabinets again being the centrepiece. Again, we made adjustments to the design as we contemplated the changes we wanted to make and again Carol was forgiving and accommodating. We enjoyed the second project, as by now we were pretty much old friends with the cabinet builders and with Carol in the office. They could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We plan one more, more modest project, early next year, and we wouldn't contemplate going with anyone else. We love this company's products and their service. They are also good people who have now become our friends.
I had a very small job requiring only one small vanity top. Countertop Expressions took it on when other companies seemed to not want to. All of the staff were friendly and helpful from the first time I entered the shop and told them what I needed. They worked through everything with me very patiently and on my timelines. The measurers and installers were very friendly and tidy and everyone wanted to ensure my satisfaction. Any issues were handled fairly and professionally and the outcome was wonderful. I am very happy with the product and would happily recommend this company to my friends and family.
