Countertops Direct Inc

Review: [redacted] owner of Countertops Direct Inc fabricated granite slabs for my kitchen. He did not cut out the wooden underlayment portion to accomodate sink faucet, soap dispenser, garbage disposal operating button. Also, he poorly cut out the opening for the sink. He had his worker pound on the sink to improve the poor centering of the sink. The granite then cracked around the disposal button 1-2 days after they left. Not cutting out the underlayment for the sink hardware can also cause stress to the granite. Mr. [redacted] is saying the crack occured due to the plumber he sent to us. We lost $2,500 for parts & labor. Mr. [redacted] refuses to admit any wrong doing to avoid paying anything. We had to hire a competant company to replace the granite for $2,000. Total cost for granite countertops $4,500.Desired Settlement: Refund of parts/labor $2,500
