Review: We ordered a people counter for our gallery and it never worked properly. The display panel indicated a much higher number of visitors than had actually visited the gallery on any given day (thousands higher than it should have been). After several phone calls and emails with [redacted] from Counting Technologies, I was unable to fix the people counter. He said to ship it back and he would send a replacement. I waited about a month after mailing our original people counter but didn't hear or receive anything. I left several emails and voicemails in July and August 2014. On August 5, 2014 I got ahold of [redacted] on the phone. He said he thought the replacement people counter had already been mailed to me and that hed go find out about it within the hour and send me the tracking number. I never heard back. In the past few weeks, I've dialed all the extension numbers provided and no one has answered.Desired Settlement: We would like to be reimbursed so that we may purchase another people counter from a different company.

I spoke with [redacted] the other day, and informed him of these things:

(1) Counting Technologies has dissolved as a corporation. I am still taking a few calls and emailing people to send them to the manufacturer of the equipment they bought, or to a competitor that sells the same equipment.

(2) Regarding this claim, we sent the client’s equipment off to the manufacturer to be repaired, but they have not done so because they are not happy with us that we have an outstanding balance.

(3) However, on Friday I talked to them, and they said they would honor the warranty, so the client should receive her “people counter” back from them within a few weeks.

(4) I had emailed this information to the client a couple weeks ago, but there is nothing I can do further since our bank accounts are closed and her equipment is with the manufacturer.

The last communication I had with Counting Technologies was a phone conversation in which I was told that a new people counter was being sent to me that same day. This was a few months ago.

Please provide the name and contact information for the manufacturer so that I can follow up with them if I don't receive the people counter in a few weeks.
