Dear Mr [redacted] , I’m sorry you didn’t have a good experience trying to trade in your Camaro I’ve reviewed our phone calls and emails gathering information on your transaction The first thing that jumps out at me is that we’ve NEVER seen your car Travalues are provided once we’ve appraised your vehicle in person people could have the exact same Camaro with the same miles and same options, and the values could vary greatly depending on condition and vehicle history As we’ve never seen your Camaro, it’s impossible for us to give you an exact trade in value While I think the range quoted on your Camaro is high, I can see in your history that we offered you multiple trucks giving you more than $20,for your trade in At first you didn’t like the color, or didn’t like the equipment or the price Then, you call back and say you are interested, but in the meantime the truck has already sold We are a small local car dealer, and do not have a large inventory At the time you were looking, we were in the middle of a year end clearance, where we try to sell all the remaining 2015’s prior to the new year I’m sorry you couldn’t take advantage of the deals we were offering This is very much a first come, first served business I’m sure you’ve shopped a lot of other dealers, and didn’t get the trade in value you were seeking Why else would you drive the 80+ miles and pass other dealers? Review: I enquired about a new vehicle via country Chevrolet's website. I told them to contact me if they could give me a MINIMUM of 23k for a trade in value on my vehicle. I was called the next day by their sales manager. He asked me to bring send him pics and the VIN# of my vehicle. I did this. The next day I drove 80 miles to colville to meet with him and look at trucks. He tells me that he can give me 23k for a trade-in value on my car. For the next 4 weeks, I am given the run around from him and the staff there. I am told they are "looking for a truck for me", that they can "get it from another dealer", etc etc.

After weeks of getting the run around, I call and ask to talk to the manager. I am told that his sales manager shouldn't have told me they can give me that much for my vehicle. He was also extremely rude and disrespectful telling me "good luck and go use another dealer". Then he hangs up on me.

After this, I call in and ask to talk to the owner. I am told the same thing...that his sales manager shouldn't of told me they could give me that amount and "sorry". I wasted a month waiting for them to hold up there end of the deal and follow through only to be treated like this and hung up on. I will never use or refer anyone to this business. I will also make a point to let everyone I know how I was treated and how dishonest they are.

I am also going to contact the state auto licensing dept and proceed accordingly.Desired Settlement: For them to be fined or held accountable for their actions as well as possible litigation.
