Review: I took the avalanche we brought from Country Chevrolet in[redacted] because im told that the [redacted] office closed and this is the place to use.I had a bad experience with [redacted] when I went to use my warranty they said it was no good I just thought that they were corrupt! and did not want to honor the warranty,I should of reported them! but I didn't. When my wife and I brought our Avalanche from Country Chevrolet we explained our problem with what happened with the warranty for our Chevy Warner Bro Special Editon Venture. [redacted] the sales manager explained to us not to worry this won't happen with them or any Chevy Dealership that we use with their "GM PEACE OF MIND PROTECTION PLAN" and that he could not comment on the protection plan that [redacted] sold me. So we was very happy with what [redacted] Had explained to us, so we brought the 3 year 36.000 mile Warranty. Now almost a year later a few problems arised, the hood open light keeps coming on,the front right side driving bulb keeps blowing, the Transmission slips sometimes,the cruse control doesn't work and the GPS and backup camera works improper and the cd player keeps spinning after you turn off the truck theirs a short somewhere,so I explained this to one of Healey Chevrolet service men and then the selling began! He then put our name in the computer and said ok you have coverage but I need you to sign this piece of paper just in case your coverage does not cover these things and we can charge you a diagnostic price for each problem. Now I brought a worry free coverage and here this man is doing the same thing that [redacted] did! Now I told him when I take my car to Toyota they tell me on the spot your covered or not! this is a sham that Chevy is doing to people, they rob you for your warranty money and then give you problem when you go to use it. Now when I said I was calling the Revdex.com and I left, they called me back and said the diagnostic would be free, this is wrongDesired Settlement: I would like the money that my wife and I spent on the warranty back in a check because we paid off the original loan, because it seems that this is a common practice of "CHEVROLET" "BAIT AND SWITCH" sell you the extended warranty and call it peace of mind and then give you a excuse why you can't use it, For example a mouse chewed the wire your not covered,there is nothing wrong with the cruse control its a wire gong to the cruse control that's not covered these are his examples at Healey chevy

The complaint was directed to [redacted] which was closed up in January of 2013. We have assumed the cusotmer file and the complaint which was directed to us from the former owner. The customer was in our service department and was upset that when he was written up and asked to sign the repair order that procedure is to inform the customer that if the repair is not covered under the extended warranty that he would be repsonsible to pay. He was upset that we could not tell him if his repair would be covered. Our policy and procedure is to first diagnose the repair then call it in to the warranty company for coverage.

To resolve this issue, I asked the cusotmer to forward a copy of the warranty to us and we would call the warranty company ahead of time to see if his cruise control would be covered. We will schedule an appointment to diagnose his issue.

At this time, I have not been contacted by healey chevrolet regarding complaint[redacted]. since their first time, the manager and I had our conversation and he told the Revdex.com that my complaint was with [redacted] which was a lie, it was with healey chevrolet
