Country Club Tire & Auto Reviews (2)

Case# *** *** ***On Jan12, above named customer brought a vehicle into our service department for a Missouri safety inspection. The inspection process revealed several safety defects with the vehicle. The customer was explained all the defects. The customer did not
request cost estimate nor did we offer any because customer claimed he was going to do the repairs hisself. On or about Jan 20, customer returned with said vehicle, present it for re-inspection of known safety defects. Upon the attempt to being vehicle into shop to re-inspect, the vehicle would not start. On or about Feb 2, customer returned again for re-inspection of said defects. A Missouri Safety Inspector performed the re-inspection it was found at that time the customer made no corrections to the defects. As a licensed state inspection station we are to allow (1) one free re-inspection within (20) twenty working days. Country Club Tire & Auto has fulfilled our requirements as an inspection station. There will be no further considerations in this matter. Sincerely, *** ***- President

To whom it may concern:My name is [redacted] GM and Sam, Owner of Country Club Tire & Auto[redacted]  I am writing this letter in response to a recent consumer complaint from Mrs. [redacted], on June 12th, 2017.I take her concerns and well...

fair quite seriously. As a policy with in our Company it is the consumer satisfaction that over laps all the decisions As long as it makes common sense and is a realistic request. We have outstanding ratings with Car Gurus, Auto Trader and other internet rating systems that are out there.Every car we sell to a public consumer comes with the Missouri State Inspections and is priced well below retail. We offer Extended Service Contracts that some purchase while others do not. Always they are sold well below market value.  Mrs. [redacted], her husband and a young lady came to our location on the morning of February 11th, 2017 and looked at vehicles. They test drove a 2002 Jeep Liberty 4WD with 165,000 miles on it. They returned and said they would like to purchase it. They said they would like to return on the following Saturday and pick it up, the 18th of February. We negotiated on a deal and settled at 3300.00. The customers were offered a Vehicle Service Contract that they declined; all our cars are sold AS IS. It was explained to them that while the MO. Safety Inspection was completed  as for as the Emissions was concerned an Oxygen Sensor was replaced and that the vehicle would need to be driven a few hours so that the vehicles computers would reset and that they should bring it back next week to complete the Emissions. THAT WE GUARANTEE it will pass.  We did not hear from the [redacted]'s again until Yesterday morning at 7AM. The 12th of June 2017 almost four months later. In the phone call from [redacted] she spoke with [redacted] on his cell phone. She began by explaining that she had just recently purchased a car and that it has been costly for her so far. She said that the vehicle was being driven by her Grand Daughter or Grand Son and that so for she has spent 400.00 then 500.00 and now a another 1000.00The total was shocking to me and I was very concerned. I started to tell her that I am still in bed but would be going into the office and would look and review the deal. Before I could finish she said that we need to take the car back and reimburse her all the money for the vehicle.I explained that I had not heard from her even one time until this moment. That I was very sorry to hear this news but we do not have an unlimited return policy. I tried to explain that it isn't that unusual no other Auto Dealers have a policy like that nor will companies that sell used driers, stoves, Refrigerators, boats and the like. She responded all you’re doing is babbling and that she had heard I broke the law when I sold her a vehicle without a Mo State Safety Inspection. But that statement of hers was untrue.I tried to tell her I haven't sold a single car to a consumer without its inspection. This inspection was done on.02/25/2017 at 11:02 am CVIP Station # [redacted]GVIP Analyzer # [redacted] Mrs. [redacted] then went on to say that she was contacting an Attorney, that she was going to destroy our reputation especially in St Charles and that I was nothing more than a lousy thief and crook. It was at that point I decided there was nothing left to say so I told I was hanging up and have a good day.
