Board of Directors did authorize a refund of unused tuition Tuition for the first semester was $22,and is not refundable Mrs*** paid $27,and so the difference of $4,is refundable The contract signed clearly states that the final decision on refunds if there is a dispute is the decision of the school I will provide a copy of the contract. Laura was a student with many emotional difficulties but under the circumstances I am not comfortable divulging her personal information to the Revdex.com We did the best that we could for Laura but in the end determined that her difficulties were greater than anticipated and that it would best serve her and the school if she returned home. As you can see from the attached agreement signed by Ms. [redacted], the school is not required to refund tuition for any reason. We did refund that portion of the tuition that we deemed due for the second semester but will not refund the first semester tuition. Ms. [redacted]'s daughter was with us well into the first semester.Ms. [redacted]'s daughter had much more severe problems than we were led to believe. We worked with her over the summer school and into the fall session. I cannot, due to privacy laws, disclose her issues, but it became apparent that we could no longer continue to work with her due to her condition. We felt that it was in the best interest of the student and the school that she return home for treatment. Our school, our teachers, administrators, and residential personal worked very hard to help her daughter and I do not feel that any additional refund is necessary.I wish the [redacted] family well but no additional refund is forthcoming.
I accept Mr. W[redacted] refund of $4750 and request a refund of the balance to total $12,000 because the school was unable to manage the difficulties of my child. I look forward to hearing further details from Mr. Wick in the coming week.[redacted]
