In Mr ***’s latest response, he is now calling me a liar and makes claims that are untrue and incorrectI am done responding Our sub contractor has made contact with Mr*** and hopefiully will make the repairs soon, *** *** Owner Country Farms Inc

Every statement I have made is factual,  I have documentation and pictures of everything.  Mr [redacted] has not, during the past year made any contact that was not initiated by me and expects me to believe he has made efforts to address my concern. He made promises on three occasions to do the repairs and never did and did not make contact at any [redacted]e to explain any delays.  I did not call him a liar,  I stated what has happened.
His contractor did show on 9/16/14 and take measurements and claimed he will return on  9/22/14 to repair his work.
It is a shame that it took this complaint and a letter from my legal representation before Mr [redacted] would bother to respond.
When repairs are completed I will take whatever steps are needed to close this concern.

Contractors Response to Complaint:
Mr [redacted] certainly has reasons to be frustrated and even angry with our company,
however I have returned approx 70% of the cost of the project and will not expect the
payment back until we are able to repair his patio.
Mr [redacted] and Country Farms entered...

into an agreement in the Fall of 2013 for Country
Farms to overlay (3) separate patios with a .” stamped concrete overlay product made by
Butterfield Colors. A sub-contracting crew completed the work in early October of 2013
and the job was billed soon after. The customer quickly paid the TOTAL invoice, but
had a few complaints he felt needed corrected. I quickly followed up those complaints
with a trip to see his concerns and frustrations. The front patio he was happy with and no
corrective measures were needed. The second patio, located at the back of house, was in
good condition but had one area where water wa.s laying. The third patio was in good
condition excluding 2 or 3 small areas where a concrete trowel gouged the surthee
without it being smoothed over properly. Unfortunately, these areas were now cured and
hard which now would require a difficult fix.
I apologized to the customer and returned his final payment back to him and asked l1im to
wait until we made the repairs before he paid in full. (He paid an approx 1/3 payment
upon signing the agreement which we did keep for the work he was happy with). Within
a month, we returned and installed a drain into the second patio correcting any issues the
customer had with that patio. He is now satisfied with first and second patios. I asked
the sub-contracting crew to make the repair on the third patio in the Fall of 2013. After
winter weather came, we agreed to wait to Spring of this year (2014).  The subcontracting crew has been asked to repair the patio over a dozen times by our company.
Although they seem to have good intentions, the repairs still have not been completed.
I’ve urged them multiple times to get it done, but now they seem to be ignoring my
requests.
I certainly could try and take legal action against our sub-contractor and I have tried to
hire another sub-contractor recently with no success. I will continue to push our sub
contractor to get the repair completed but considering his lack of response, 1 don’t have
much hope.

The response by Mr [redacted] of Country Farms  is inaccurate and offers no resolution in any way , shape or form.  While I agree with his opening statement that I have valid reasons to "be frustrated and even angry " with Country Farms the majority of his response is inaccurate.  In two weeks it will be a year and I have no reason to believe that Mr [redacted] has taken any steps to address my concern.  All contact has been initiated by myself and Mr [redacted] had demonstrated an "I don't care"  attitude.
A)  The agreement with Country Farms was signed in July after initial contact in June, not in the fall.  I was told by Mr [redacted] the work would be completed by the end of August 2013.  It was not completed until early October and during that time Mr [redacted] chose to not return calls and was never available.  When I expressed my concern to Mr [redacted] about the contractor he assured me that a quality job would be done.
B)  The "two or three small areas" that Mr [redacted] refers to are in fact over a dozen trowel marks, holes, gaps, cracks that are not even close to the appearance of a stamped concrete product.  Mr [redacted] has not only personally seen this flaws,  I have also provided him with pictures of the poor quality work performed.
C)  The drain that he claims to have installed with in a month in fact took two months and was not completed until after Thanksgiving of 2013 when I returned from visiting family out of town and found two workers in my yard without any type of notification that they were coming.  These workers told me that they had to spend [redacted]e on a regular basis "cleaning up" after the concrete contractor.
I have no reason to believe that any attempts were made in the forms of what Mr [redacted] states is over a dozen requests to his contractor.  Mr [redacted] promised the repairs would be completed in the spring.  Nothing was done and no contact was made with me.  When I contacted him in early August Mr [redacted] told me the repairs would be on the August schedule. Nothing was done and no contact was made with me.  When I went to Country Farms on September 2, 2014 and spoke with Mr [redacted] and presented him with pictures of the poor quality work Mr [redacted] response was "I don't have an answer for you."
I have never had to deal with such an unprofessional business owner before.  He does not return calls,  only answers if I have not identified myself and has been inaccurate if not dishonest in his response to my concerns about the poor quality work performed.  I cannot understand why any business would keep a contractor who does not perform the work requested so I do not believe that Mr [redacted] has requested the work to be performed numerous [redacted]es.  It would be interesting to know how many jobs the contractor has performed for Country Farms while allegedly refusing to repair the work done for me.
My contract however was not with the subcontractor, but with Country Farms.  The work was poorly done and Mr [redacted] agreed,  returned part of the monies paid and promised repairs would be done.  In close to a years [redacted]e frame it has not happened.  Mr [redacted]' response to my complaint to the Revdex.com is as poor as his responses to me.  No resolution is offered.
I have no other option but to seek legal counsel at this time.

The repairs on my patio have not been completed and it is now a month after the above complaint was closed as resolved.  I now have a two toned patio with a crack running the length of the center.

It appears I will have no option other than to pursue a legal remedy to my complaint.

Review: Country Farms redid three patios with stamped concrete in October 2013. The largest patio has a large number of trowel marks, holes and concrete piles instead of a stamped concrete finish. The owner inspected the job after a letter was sent with the payment for the patios. The owner, [redacted], agreed the job was unsatisfactory and returned part of my payment along with a promise to schedule repairs in the spring of 2014. I spoke with [redacted] in April of 2014 and was told the repairs would be done when the weather was warmer. I did not hear from [redacted] until I called again in August. During that call [redacted] dismissed my concerns about the poor quality work stating that I was concerned about "a few trowel marks" and that "it must be about the money." I got him to commit to putting the repairs on his August schedule. No on showed up to do the repairs or made any contact with me.On September 2 I went to Country Farms to speak with [redacted]. I presented him with pictures of the poorly done patio and asked why the repairs had not been completed after 11 months. [redacted] told me that he could not get his concrete contractor to perform the work. When I asked what alternatives there were and pointed out that a Google search showed over 120 concrete contractors in the Greensburg area [redacted] responded with "I do not have an answer for you."Desired Settlement: I would like the current patio removed and replaced.
